My wife and I spent about 6 hours there for our anniversary this last Friday..it was an awesome experience. We actually came in early, with the misconception the band started at 8pm..but didnt actually start till 1030pm. However, the bartender was absolutely awesome and made our time there great! Very personable and polite and wonderful service. The atmosphere was laid back and the music was spot on. The time passed too fast. If you havent heard David Goodier yet, youre missing out! We will most definitely be back soon!

The Verve is a local hot spot for college aged people. They have an area with lounge seating and an area for watching people perform on the smallish stage. Local bands and other entertainment is featured on this stage almost nightly. The speakers are very loud so conversation in this area is difficult. They also have a room with pool tables and some additional seating.

Always a fun time after 11 pm on Tuesday Thursday and Saturdays lots of younger crowed/collage age lots of dancing, drink specials and all around fun, active hype, young, good vibe people and pretty good music. Rap/ hip hop / r&b/ dubstep/alturnated mix of rap and pop songs

Ive been to bars all over the United States. The Verve is a great bar, and if you think its boring, youve NEVER been there when Lukas Autry Nelson & POTR is playing!! Love the back room with the original mosaic on the walls!! Absolutely gorgeous!!

This is a great place to hear live music. Its really the only venue in town that regurlarly features traveling and local bands playing their own, original material. Wherever I travel, I look for that places version of this bar : )

One of the best college bars of Terre Haute. Thursday is the best night with the multiple 1 dollar drinks. Dont forget to tip the great staff. Often there is great bands that will come in on different nights.
