Sticky floors, broken toilets, no hand soap. They bring in interesting acts worth seeing if you can deal with their overzealous security team with out issues. I attended during Pensacon as a VIP. The other bar-5 1/2 closed early with a sign on the door "Private VIP Pensacon party." The doorman let me with my VIP badge, but it turned out the party was for a private function, that staff mis-labeled the sign on door. As soon as I realized it was a private event, not a VIP Pensacon event, I left and returned to the my friends gathered in the smoking alley. Curtis, their main security guy, Ive known for years approached me asking me to leave the premises because I entered the mis-labeled private party. Realizing this was an over reaction by staff, I asked why I was being asked to leave? I explained to him about the misunderstanding and that I would not be going back in, Curtis replied I was "Too Old" to be there and I should leave now. Being a business professional surrounded by other business professionals I recorded the exchange realizing this is a teaching moment my professional friends could use for what not to do, aka customer service. One of my friends with me that night that witnessed it, shows the video during employee orientation and employees are told this is not how you handle customer service. To add further insult, after leaving then venue and having dinner elsewhere, I discovered Vinyl towed my car that was parked out front at a metered parking spot. Yeah, its illegal to do that too. In summary: Dirty sticky floors, broken toilets in the ladies room with no hand soap, poorly trained staff and egotistical managers.

Went once and will never return. Terrible staff. The manager would not accept my fiancés temporary I.D. (her purse with drivers license was stolen the week before and the DMV gave her a temp) and then made us pay 5 dollars extra at the door for her being "under 21". When we got into the venue, we realized that "standing room only" meant "you have to stand to the side of the stage behind barriers the entire show without any other seating". The show was supposed to start at 7pm. They opened the doors at 7pm. We got in at 7:10pm and waited until 8pm. Still no music. The opening act had not even stepped onto the stage. AN HOUR AFTER THE TICKETED START TIME AND THE OPENING ACT HAD NOT EVEN BEGUN TO PLAY!! Needless to say we walked out never to return. We left before any music had even been played out of disgust. I feel sorry for Pensacola that they have to endure such a terrible venue.

I went here when it was really crowded. We were waiting for a singer to come out, but the poster never said when he was going to come out, so I was stuck in the crowd for a long time. Its actually smaller inside than you think. People are sort of sitting on the floors in the corners. I recommend they put couches or at least chairs around in the corner for people to sit more comfortably. Either way, the place where the musician plays is pretty close to where the crowd is, so I think thats pretty personal and fun.

Saw In Flames here last week and was easily the best concert Ive been to. Tickets are reasonable and we got there an hour before doors opened, were front row at the show. The place is pretty small, but I prefer them that way over a convention center or arena where Im packed in with smelly dudes. The sound system was pretty good for the heavy metal sound and even when the place got full for the main band, the AC inside was very tolerable. I will be keeping an eye out for future shows at this place.

Bought tickets in advance for a 7 pm show. Arrived early expecting to wait in line. They didnt start letting people on until 3 minutes before the show. It is now 51 minutes after the show was suppressed to start and still nothing. If it is an 8 pm show, have the balls to advertise as such and i can plan my day. Wont be back.... ever.

The vinyl always seems unreasonably loud no matter the show. Ive seen rap, metal ,jazz, and ska. However within the past two months they seemed to have cleaned up the sound quite a bit. Still loud but you can clearly hear everything. Drinks are a bit expensive but Id rather sit at the 5 1/2 bar and getting drinks there anyway

Cool but really small venue. Depending on the headliner, they may pack too many folks into such a small place. Because of the size, volume can be a little overbearing....some may want to bring ear plugs given the performance. Depending on what your looking for, could be a great experience.

Went for the Rooney concert, it was a chill place. The speakers are honestly a little too loud for the space (I know, unpopular opinion) but the bar was nice and there was limited seating in the back. Disliked that there was no reentry as they dont have food but I can see the need for it.

This is by far the best venue for bands and to see your favorite bands. The sound system is phenomenal, the energy is high, very relaxed atmosphere for concerts with a fully stocked bar and reasonable drink prices. If I could, Id give it 20 stars outta 5!!! EXCELLENT!!!!!

Sound cut out last night at the show and they never got it fixed. Also I had charges to my debit account that make absolutely no since seeing as how iI paid cash. It was my 3rd experience and I gotta say this was the worst. Ill never fo back.

Love this place. Great venue for live music, with a bar and limited seating. We saw The Fixx here in December of 2016 and had a fantastic time. The parking is free at any meter after 6 p.m. so it was convenient. We had a blast.

Sure, its cozy inside Vinyl and we could use a little more space to rock out however they bring some of the best music to the area! And for that, 5 stars my friends. Thank you for providing an intimate venue for music and fun.

Love this place! They get plenty of bands I want to see. The atmosphere is fantastic. Warning: there is only one place to sit and that in the restroom. So wear your comfy shoes. Bring cash to purchase band gear!

Great venue to see indie, non-commercial, and just high quality artists and bands. One of those places where, even if youve never heard of the performers, they will be good. Curators of good music.

Its incredible to be so up and close and personal with these major artists. I heard about in VA. Im coming to Pensacola just to see shows at the Vinyl. I wish we had something like this.

Vinyl brings in a diverse and interesting bands. We attend events several times a year. It is truly an asset to downtown Pensacola and the surrounding area... シ
