I had tried multiple times for over a month to get a ticket to see Nathan Gunn and the Notre Dame Chorale perform Mendelssohns Elijah, but to no avail because it was "sold out." As a junior at Notre Dame and regular patron to many wonderful productions at DPAC, I was incredibly disappointed to hear from a friend (who went through great lengths to get a ticket herself) that there were large swaths of seats (particularly on the balcony level) that remained unoccupied during the concert. By saying that concerts are "sold out" over a month in advance, you are doing a tremendous disservice to the many students who wished to attend that concert but could not because there were large sections that were "reserved" with no actual intent on those seats being occupied. I, for one, know several friends who would have loved to see Nathan Gunn perform but could not because of this absolutely ridiculous policy. Please make your facility more student-friendly. DPAC is on a college campus, for heavens sake.

Beautiful performing arts center includes a movie house upstairs with Met Live operas, National Theatre Live productions from London, and an interesting mix of classic, independent, and foreign movies. The movies cost a few dollars less than the local commercial cinema, the selection is much more interesting, and the snacks are much cheaper, too.

I preform here sometimes. The dressing rooms are really cramped, but thats because there are 47 dancers in our company and even more in the apprentice levels. The stage is also a bit small, but Im used to the Morris. Ive occasionally seen the outside, and have found it comfy and nice looking as far as Ive seen.

Beautiful performing arts center with great acoustics. I have watched the Notre Dame Symphony Orchestra numerous times here, and every event was well planned. The staff and volunteers are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.
