We read the menu on line and decided to give The Rogue Tavern a try for dinner - 5 women who usually do the white tablecloth thing - walked into the Rogue, thinking we had made a mistake....our mistake was to think that a sportsbar, music venue could not have "white tablecloth" food. One of the best meals I have had in a long time - service was typical bar, but the friendly atmosphere and food made up for it. I highly recommend the Ahi Tuni appetizer, pot roast (divine comfort food) and white chocolate bread pudding. Everything I tasted (off everyone elses plates) was delicious but these were my personal favorites. I wonder if I can make it there for lunch today...definitely worth a try!!

I would have to say that this is the best place to enjoy yourself in Birmingham AL. The staff is what keeps me coming back in there week after week. Alex, Wendy,Mike, Jazz, Jeremy, Travis, Jake and the rest of the staff always take excellent care of me and my lady. The food is amazing and I have never ordered anything I wasnt satisfied with combine that with talented musicians it is always a great environment. I cant say enough about how much I enjoy Rogue Tavern! Take your friends and have some fun, tell them Jamie sent ya!

Had an awful experience 2-5-16. The new manager was rude and basically lied about what I could get during lunch. I work for one of the law firms in the area and we get our lunches every other Monday from Rogue. I requested one of the items I normally get. Without hesitation she insisted that was not available. I have eaten there probably no less than 20 time prior and had this item. Either she was misinformed and did not want to admit it, or she was just being difficult. Either, my husband I got up and left.

It was amazing. I went for the A Thousand Horses show. My boyfriend and I got dinner. I got the combo sliders meal. I chose the Alabama BLT and the Pimento Cheese Slider. It was delicious. My boyfriend got the wings and they were great also. He got 5 hot and 5 barbecue. I was impressed with the price and size of the wings. Overall good experience. I came to work bragging to the ladies about the food. So we may be coming from Southside to get some food. Good job!

The ONLY reason we go here from time to time is because it is walking distance from my office. Today was the last time Im going there, Ive always disliked going here because the food is overpriced, greasy, not that good, not a lot of food for the price, the service is always horrible(what would you like to drink? what would you like to eat? heres your check). Jump in the car and go somewhere else!!! AVOID this place at ALL COSTS!!!

Well worth the walk from the office downtown. Great food and wide variety to choose from. I really like the indoor/outdoor seating in the back where you have all of the wind protection of four walls but open roof to help you get away on your lunch hour. Have not been to happy hour but the hh specials look good and nightly music will make this a happy hour destination in the very near future.

Tonight, my honeys band: Cottonbox Road, played there. My honey was the drummer and he was so deathly sick snd played the best he could. Big thank you to Rogue Tavern and the manager Jordan for treating us all like guests in his home. Very pleased with the amazing food and drinks and stellar service. Was my first time and it was wonderful.

Worst dining experience of my life. Was there an hour and got drinks with no other contact from a waitress. No refills. Nothing. Folks running the place didnt care if you were there or not. Would have left then if we could have gotten someones attention to pay our one round of drinks tab.

Good beers and good food. They also have an outdoor area that is walled-in where you can take your drinks and food if you want to get away from live music and have a nice conversation, or if you want to smoke. They have propane heaters in this outdoor area if you go there during winter.

Tasty! The food was very good. The price is decent. The atmosphere is comfortable. The music is hit or miss...but that is up to your musical preference. Someone mentioned that the service was horrible...I certainly didnt have private luxury service. Its a pub! The service was fine.

No seating. Went to see a. Concert venue, there was no seating just a disorganized mess of people jammed into an area. They need to keep seating out for people. I would have stayed but there was no point In trying to eat or drink standing up. Left before the thing started.

The food here is pretty standard level bar-type fare, but it is enjoyable. HOWEVER, they DO have a really solid brunch, which they dont seem to advertise too much. I would recommend them for that alone. Mimosa pitchers? Yes. Trivia night can also be pretty fun as well.

The service provided by the waitress was wonderful, thats the only reason why they got a star. The food was cold and nothing spectacular. I ordered a top shelf long island and it was the worst I had ever had. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

We visited the Rogue Tavern by mistake. We were looking for another place nearby but spotted this instead. It was probably a better choice than our first selection. The food here was very tasty and the service superb. Gotta try it out for yourself.

Love this place! Really tries something new in blending bar and restaurant, I enjoy that. Staff seems very friendly and give great service. Cant recommend it enough. Try the pot roast, youll thank me later.

American pub grub, decent beer selection, great for groups. Big room makes it noisy and as soon as a band plays communication gets impossible. Wait staffs attention and bar tenders speed is not up to par.

Love Rogue Tavern! It can get pretty crowded, especially when theres a concert, but its a super fun place to be whether you just want dinner or to go out and enjoy live music. The food is great, too!

Thought I was going to eat bar food tonight..... Nope. Panco crusted chicken with a honey drizzle, grilled vegetable medley and mashed potatoes with bacon. I will come here for the food!!!!!

Great food! We had out 30 year class reunion there and it turned out very nice. There is a back area with no ceiling for smokers and there are heaters for when its chilly out.

Food and drinks are good. The staff will actually come to your table and there is plenty of room. What more can you ask for from a bar?

Brunch here is the best! Chicken and waffles + a mimosa carafe is the way to go. Im definitely making this my Bham brunch stop.
