Rascals/Rascals Live is honestly the only place I would want to see a big name band in the QC! Rascals live has that intimate bar feeling yet holds a nice size crowd and with the bands they get in there (some of the best bands I have ever seen play at a local bar) you are up close and personal with the band! No matter where your seat is or where you stand in the place, you are up close and in the action. Minimal fees to see very popular bands too. You can pay $100 or more to sit in a huge arena and look at a spec on a stage from the nosebleeds or pay very little to sit up close and personal. Sound system is one of the best I have heard in a bar in the Q.C too! Bartenders are friendly, and fast and know exactly what they are doing. Security is always making sure the place is safe as well, though I have never seen a problem at Rascals/Rascals Live. Rascals side is a memorbilia bar and you can relax on that side or if you prefer a louder, live band scene just go to Rascals Live side. They have a lot of local talent as well on weekend nights. Just a very friendly, fun atmosphere and just about the only bar I honestly care for in Moline.

Easily one of the best bars & live music venues in the Quad Cities. Owners make you feel like family. Have experienced so many amazing shows there Ive lost count but here are a few memorable ones; Eric Sardines, Shawn Kellerman, John Corabi, Bret Michaels, Winery Dogs, White Snake, Nick Moss, White Snake, Black Star Riders, Steady Rollin Blues band and the late great Jimmie Lee Adams, Damon Johnson, 3 Years Hollow, Chris Avey Band, Lynn Allen, Kashmir, LA Guns the list goes on and on. Incredibly friendly, fast professional staff. One of the best stages and sound youll find. Bouncers are cool Dont let the handful of butthurt "entitled" children posting bad reviews here sway you. From what I heard they were being assholes and had to go.

I visited Rascals Live to see Great White and the Brandon Gibbs Band perform and I was blown away. I write about music, I see shows as often as people go to work, in 2015 I saw 157 bands and Rascals Live is going to be a venue I visit as much as possible. I was very impressed by the staff at Rascals, they were helpful, beyond cordial and friendly. Everything I saw about the facility was great, and when I asked questions about what many might consider strange (like how many people it holds) I was given an answer even to the point where they found me to give me the answer. Looking at the acts that have performed at Rascals it is very impressive. The staff and venue itself is incredible, we will be back. Keep up the great work!!!

This place has an online box office, but doesnt state the age limit. It is 21+ And they act like its common sense, but its not for someone who ISNT from Moline or familiar with this particular bar. In Mattoon, IL there are bars you can get into under 21 on certain nights or events. Seeing how there is nothing on the site about age I assumed all ages were permitted on show nights. It should be displayed on the site as most do. Ive been buying concert tickets for years and this is the first time Ive run into this issue. Waste of gas, time and hotel thanks to inadequate info. I was given a refund for the ticket, but shorted $4.50.

I love this place. If you want to be comfortable and safe while outside of your home to enjoy a great live music venue...this is the place. Im reading all these negative review from youngsters that dont like to follow rules, enjoy destroying other peoples property, dont respect others around them and have no worries of their own safety. No, Rascals isnt the place to go if you want to Mosh and crowd surf...its not that type of venue. If thats your idea of fun....I advice you to stay home or go to a venue that has no security and doesnt care if you mess up there place.#GrowUp #HaveSomeHomeTraining #NoRules=Chaos

Grabbed a minor at one of my bands shows, screamed in her face and threatened her, her and the crowd around her were terrified. As a musician, I feel guilty that someone came to see us play and felt not only violated but also afraid. That is the opposite of how live music is supposed to make you feel. Trying to reason with any of the staff over there is like talking to a drunk person trying to fight, they make you feel small and powerless. I will never ever go back to this place, not for a drink, not for a band, not for anything.

Had an event here and everything seemed to run smoothly but they charged us a lot of money and then raised the drink prices during our event. $17 pitchers and $6 beers is ridiculous I will never enter this place again. Not to mention when we called back to get bar sale info and even book another event there was no answer and no returned call. Dealing with rude and greedy owners is not worth this sub par venue and bar.

I watched people get escorted in as I was kicked out in the cold wind and rain because they were "over capacity". as soon as my friends band stopped playing, I had no trouble voting and doubt any other band packed it "over capacity". if that wasnt blatant enough, they purposefully spelled the name wrong on the ballat. you guys lost a huge scene, way to be jerks. NEVER GO HERE. BOYCOTT RASCALS.

Rascals live is without a doubt, the premier live music venue in the region. I highly recommend it on nights without music also. The rock memorabilia provides a great atmosphere. Their staff is talented, and attentive. Im a snob when it comes to vodka and craft beers, and they have one of the biggest selections in the area. This is my favorite bar in the Quad Cities!!!!

Went to Rascals with the hope of watching a local band perform for a crowd of people who wanted to rock out. What we were greeted with was a barricade to block us from having a good time and tables to stop a crowd of listeners from feeling comfortable. While the sounds were great. I wish we were able to listen to original music without being judged inappropriately.

Cool club! Great drink selection & awesome sound system. Rascals Live gets national acts that Ive never seen at any other local club. You get a good view of band no matter where you sit/stand. Whats nice is that they have a memorabilia bar right next door where you can go if you want to hang out & chat with friends. My favorite bar/club.

Use to go there every weekend when I lived in town. Kenny and Julie are the absolute best and I always got the best service there. Unfortunately I dont live in town any more but every time I am in the quad cities I make sure to stop in and see everyone, like I am right now.
