BOOK WITH MUSIC MIX INC of LACROSSE! They did a fantastic job and were absolutely wonderful to work with. Both Steve and Kelly are AWESOME, bottom line! A friend recommended Music Mix of La Crosse to us; and after talking with Steve and Kelly we never looked back! Not only did they meet and exceed or requests, I felt Steve and Kelly were genuinely happy for us, and that my fellow Brides is priceless! Kelly Wilde was our DJ on our special night. Dinner music was excellent; and when the dance started Kelly had the guests on the dance floor in no time at all! Kelly was extremely professional and entertaining. We heard from the friends who recommended Music Mix of La Crosse that Kelly was one of the most sought after DJs in La Crosse, and we were lucky to book with him. We had no idea he would be so fun! Guests were watching him dancing behind the DJ booth and sometimes he would lip-sync so good a few guests came up to me on the dance floor, pointed at Kelly, and said “Wow! Look the DJ sings too!”…the funny part is I couldn’t tell if he was singing or lip-syncing he was so good…All I could do was respond with "I guess he does!" The groom and I can’t say enough good things about him. He even worked well with the group of little girls who pestered him to play the chicken dance...(which I put on the do not play list, poor Kelly! He never did say it was me who put the Ka-Bash on it - And Kelly, for that I thank you!). The dance floor was packed all night, and I mean to the very last dance with guests screaming ENCORE! Kelly was awesome, the groom and I talked about how great he was multiple times throughout that night and even now. Now we understand why people say Kelly is one of the most sought after DJs in La Crosse. If you are teetering between another DJ and Music Mix…the choice is simple…it’s MUSIC MIX of LA CROSSE! AWESOME!!! I had an amazing experience with Steve and his staff at Music Mix....just as I expected I would!! I used to be a banquet coordinator at a wedding hall locally, and Music Mix of La Crosse was the preferred vendor for our hall. I booked Steve specifically for my wedding, and it was perfect! We had so much fun dancing the night away! In fact; when I emailed Steve my list of songs; I had picked one out for my parents that I wanted to dedicate to them throughout the dance, and it turns out; my dad had also contacted Steve and requested the same song for me and my new husband! Steve did such a great job making that song special for us all! I knew Steve would make the dance the best part of the night and he did! I got married in September, and just 2 weeks ago, one of our friends who was at the wedding brought up again how she couldnt believe how packed the dance floor was and couldnt remember the last time she danced so much! Thanks Steve!!

Everyone had a GREAT time!! We got married in April at Drugans in Holmen and we had Kelly as our DJ. My family is in the wedding business so we have experienced many different music options and one thing we knew we wanted for my big day was Music Mix and Kelly! He not only brings the music but brings his outgoing fun personality too, and they are a GREAT combo! Our wedding party and families are huge dancers and Kelly kept us dancing all night long! He gets into every song and was dancing himself behind the DJ table. Everyone loved it and we got so many compliments on how FUN our DJ was and how much he added to the dance! Most of my family is from out of town and they couldn’t believe how entertaining the DJ was, both with the music and his personality as well! I would HIGHLY recommend Music Mix and Kelly for your wedding. They helped make the night so memorable for not only us but our guests too!

Run away! First this place ONLY lets you choose 10- 15 of the songs you want. No more. These songs are sue to them a month in advance. When I was 2 days late with this list (a month before your wedding you have a few other details to remember too!!!) he left me a message on my phone that literally put my into tears. At this point my fiance said "thats it, we are done" I called the venue that had recommended him to me, and they said that they had had a recent incident with him also yelling at their staff. They said they were "not surprised" by what I was saying, and they were taking him off the recommended vendors list. There are enough ones on this businesses reviews that brides need to be very weary of hiring them. And if you do hire them, get a different DJ than the owner (I have heard better things about the employees than the owner.)

I have been using Music Mix of La Crosse for over five years and they do an excellent job. I have two parties a year every time they meet the needs of those attending. They are flexible and willing to accommodate the requests. I have even had them take a list of requests from one guest and play them all! They all are will please their customers!! They have even played past the designated time because the crowd is having fun! I have had others contact me about using Music Mix of La Crosse and I also recommend them. There is no one else I would ever use!!!

TERRIBLE! The worst customer service and I believe our DJ - Kelly was drunk when he came late to set up. My wedding was in Winona and he said they dont come early to out of town weddings. Out of town??? WHAT?! He drank the whole night, danced and had to race back to switch the song. He kept telling everyone how great the beer was. We ended up having a good night regardless but I was SO disappointed. I do not recommend them at all.
