This is the worst run theater I have been to. I go to the movies a lot and I often go to this theater because its close but its awful! The only way you are guaranteed a decent movie experience is by going to the imax. They havent updated any other theater. Most theaters have old torn and crappy screens that are poorly look lit and the sound system is fairly crackley. The chairs a broken and very uncomfortable! The only thing they update is their concession stands. I dont go to the movies to eat I go to see a movie!!! They also only ever have 2 ticket kiosks open so youre screwed if you bought tickets online because they havent joined the 21st century and got a ticket kiosk thats self serve. The only reason they succeed is because theyre the only theater in the area

Wow. What a mess. Went Saturday afternoon to see Bourne. Premier memberships have created two lines. While one person serves those few premiers, one person served the dozens of non-premiers. The food prices are stunningly, ridiculously high. The self serve area for butter and soda was filthy. The theatre was dirty ... You know, your feet stick to the floor kind of dirty. The sound system seemed whacked out. Ditto on restrooms. Too bad really, used to be a pretty good place to see a movie, now its a place to get ripped off. Thanks AMC! Soon you should put in Premier seating... Dont let the common folk squeeze out those club members !!

As a customer of way over 10 years I compare this theater run by AMC against when it was run by Weherenburg. AMC looses big in every category. Bathrooms are always dirty with fixtures that dont work. Hardly ever does an attendant visit the seating areas, so disturbances are only occasionally corrected if you are willing to miss part of the show to go and tell them. They are always understaffed. I guess if you drink enough at their new bar you tend to overlook these irritants. Luckily for them they dont have much competition in this area or thru would be out of business. So sad. Used to be a great weekend diversion.

This theater needs a major update. The seats which were once state of the art, are now stained and worn. Several st Louis area theaters have updated their seating, to what is modern by todays standards. Also there are several different sized movie screens, all of which cost the exact same price. They should charge less for a screen that is half the size in my opinion. You wouldnt pay the same price for a television that was 46 inches as you would for a 70 inch would you? With as well as this theater does, it can surely afford to update its theater, and stop updating the concession stands.

As a former employee here, I can say the staff here are pretty good overall. In terms of value, youre better off going to a mom and pop theatre and supporting local small businesses than this big chain - unless you are wanting the big IMAX screen. The only way to go cheap is a show before noon ($5.45). These are offered during the summer, but no often otherwise. Its going to cost you at least $8 to see a movie (up to $16 to see an IMAX movie), then another $4 for a drink and $6 for a popcorn for the smallest sizes.

Its not the greatest theater, but its also not the worst. The beverage situation is annoying since they have only four of the 100+ choice Coke machines and theyre always busy. The theaters themselves are clean and have stadium seating, though if you sit at floor level, particularly in the IMAX theater, you will be unable to see the bottom of the screen due to the chairs and head of the people in front of you. The bathrooms leave much to be desired as they are often without toilet paper and soap.

This is, without doubt, the worst movie theater Ive ever been to. It always takes FOREVER to get concessions, the bathrooms are always filthy, the seats are underpadded and uncomfortable, etc. Ive been here numerous times, and it never fails to disappoint. Its obvious the owners here dont care about the customers at all, other than their $s. I live about 5 minutes from here, but will now drive 30+ minutes to see a movie instead of going here.

Theater is worn out and showing signs of age. It definitely needs to be renovated. All the upgrades a few years ago went to the IMAX theater. The downside is I personally hate 3-D movies, and that is the primary focus of the IMAX. If planning to see a movie at the same price the new theaters with recliner seats is the way to go. This theater needs to follow suit before it becomes a dollar show theater.

This is the only local theater that I will go to. IMAX is the way to go. Theater is clean and well-maintained. They do have a bar in the lobby, but it is prohibitively expensive to indulge. They recently replaced the traditional soda fountains with these big self-service mixers-- they are awful at mixing the soda, and theres always at least one that is broken. Overall good and consistent experiences.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. They are consistently out of food or the fryer is down. Being a Stubs Premier member is useless at the location. There is no premier service or the line is longer than the regular line. They dont even ask to scan your stubs carbs at concessions. And for the 3rd time visiting here the fryer is down. This location is an absolute waste of time and money.

There are many car breakins at this theatre, the police dept said the theatre will not invest in security cameras. The police said they wouldnt come back till they had them installed. The police drive thru every hour, but they said the perps watch till they leave then break in by punching a small hole under the car door lock. It costs lots of money if you have a high deductable to fix.

Gas went up, groceries are high, of course going to the movies is going to be expensive. Its called inflation. I make sure Ive had dinner before I go to the theater, if I want a snack I pack a granola bar and a water bottle in my purse. These theaters are actually supervised and arent too overrun with annoying teens being unruly. This is the only theater worth going to on the IL side.

I normally do not have any issues here, however, I went to see Star Wars one week after it was released and was disappointed. The first three food items were out of stock, no ice available for soda, no lids for the sodas. The theater was very hot and was not enjoyable....Several people complained and we were told that they were not prepared for the business!....Thanks for listening!

Since the Cards/Pirates game was called off due to rain, we decided to take this opportunity to go see Everest. It was very suspenseful and didnt disappoint. Anyway, what I wanted to say was that Erick went above and beyond by allowing me to exchange my expired free passes for new ones. It helped to make my night! Thanks, Erick for going above and beyond! -Jody Harrison

The theater itself is a nice facility inn a good location with a good selection of movies. It is a movie theater and I get that, but the popcorn etc is very expensive. They push you to become a Stubs Premium member and have special lines for members, but the last two times I have been there, those lines were not staffed. I joined your program, provide the service.
