Came in here an hour and a half before it was supposed to close and we were told we couldnt bowl because there were not enough people bowling and they were going to close in a half hour, despite there being six of us going and we were going to use 2 Lanes, in addition to the 5 people already using a lane and the couple drinking at the bar. We asked if we could bowl for the half hour until they said they were going to close (still an hour and a half earlier than they usually close) and they said no. Not sure why this unkempt bowling alley rather close than take in any additional revenue they can but they can be assured that at least 6 people from the area wont be giving them any money any time soon.

The alley was well oiled and the staff was very nice. One issue, however, was that the balls kept getting stuck, and would not come down and back. After countless times at fixing it, we were issued a new lane with the same issue, but not at the severity as it was before. Luckily, the man behind the counter was nice enough to give us an extra half an hour in addition to the time spent fixing the lanes. It is a great place with a nice atmosphere, and if your lane works, can be a lot of fun alone or with friends and family.

Was ok. There seems to be a lack of anyplace decent to bowl in the city unfortunately. The service was horrible. The lady at the counter was on her phone the whole time she was taking care of me. Over-charged me(which was corrected by the shoe rental guy). Went into the arcade and it seemed as if all the games were from the late 90s. The lanes were good, and the balls didnt suck. The shoes were actually pretty good too. I do recommend it highly for the price though.

Ive been here twice and both times it was because of a Groupon deal. Though the deal was good, the regular prices are atrocious for bowling, especially considering how poor the service is. The front desk people are rude, the alley is small and the prices are high. Its a shame there are so few bowling alleys anymore, but if theyre all doing business like this place, Im not surprised.

Great place. Excellent old school bar. Came here last week just to drink, but at about 1 AM decided to roll a few games. The manager was very sharp and accommodating and cut us a rational deal. Need more places like this in Chicago.

A quirky old alley in the middle of Bucktown. Owned by an eccentric fellow that goes by the name of Hammer. Friendly vibe.

Old but a classic bowling alley. Come for the charm and the newly upgrade jukebox! Great people and reasonable prices.

Driest lanes Ive ever thrown on. Nearly unplayable. An overall very shady establishment which is why I like it.

Fun spot to throw a few games. Charges hourly, not per game. Bar and pool table in the back and friendly staff.
