It is ok....however 3 people got shot there recently...the neighborhood is changing... RICHTON PARK, Ill. (WLS) -- Police in south suburban Richton Park are investigating a shooting at a bowling alley that left three people wounded Sunday morning. The shooting occurred at the Lakewood Bowl at 5125 Sauk Trail at about 1:30 a.m., police said. Two victims were located at the scene when police arrived and a third victim drove himself to the hospital. Two of the victims have been treated and released from the hospital. A third remains hospitalized in critical condition. Three persons of interest, two adults and a juvenile, are in custody, police said. The manager of the bowling alley said the shooting happened right in front of the entrance and a few bullets pierced the front glass doors. He said this has never happened before at the bowling alley and they would now be beefing up security. Lakewood Bowl normally opens at 9 a.m., and the manager said they hope to open Sunday afternoon.

This place is a joke. The old lady who works most Sunday nights is rude beyond compare. First she said we cant bowl because there are no lanes open but mind you we called and reserved them with the man who answered the phone she then says well we just cleaned the lanes and were not going to clean them again then she said we dont take those coupons even though we bought them on line from there establishment this wasnt the first time she has treated my family like this. I WILL NEVER BRING MY FAMILY HERE AGAIN, AND I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. She lost the business of 16 people tonight and it was my nephews birthday also never again. When i told her this is bad business on her part she smiled and said who cares.

Nice dive bowling alley. All the lanes work fine, and the Groupon I had made it a fun afternoon. Just make sure you know when league times are.
