To simply list the facilities: the theater is analogue in both projection and sound; the sound seems to be limited to stereo (2-channel); all seats are classic stadium with no headrests, and elevation between rows is not enough to compensate for theater goers over six feet in height from blocking part of the screen from viewers sitting behind them. An oddity of the theaters resides in the decorative canvases attached to the walls of each screening. The reflect enough light to be distracting during movies, which seems contradictory to the mentality of an immersive movie experience that most theaters aim for. Concessions are, as with all theaters, overpriced. But for move theater concessions prices they are more reasonable than most cinemas. Cleanliness is good, ticketing is painless without long waits, the lobby is large enough for people to walk through and has some arcade games for the kids to be entertained by. The theater does not lack in the areas of staffing or hospitality. Theaters come in all shapes, sizes, and flavors. Habersham Hills is a simple multiplex theater, has smaller screens comparitively to metropolitan theaters, and adds a home-town country flavor to the typical Hollywood cinema outlet. For those who have little access to mainstream media and live away from suburban or urban life, this theater will suit just fine and offers a bargain price for people wanting to see mainstream films. Movie connoisseurs, those used to digital theaters, and individuals who like an immersive movie experience will be dissapointed with the lack-luster facilites, but might find some recompense by way of the cheap tickets. This is not a theater made for showing the latest high budget Hollywood action-adventure film in full glory or in 3D (the theater is not equipped for either), but rather offers a cheap way to see the basic presentation of movies.

I really do not care much for this theater. I am from Toccoa Georgia so it is the only theater near my area.It seems that everything is outdated and cheap. The staff that run the place are even cheap. I bought a small popcorn, and upon seconds of walking away with the bowl in my hand, I decided it would be better to get a large. I immediately turned around and asked to exchange the popcorn and the cashier said, "We cannot exchange your popcorn sir. You have already decided your size and must purchase another popcorn". I asked for the manager because I thought this was an easy exchange for a bowl of popcorn that I never ate out of. I thought the cashier was just having a bad day until the manager told me, "We cannot accept your exchange". I couldnt believe the cheap service that was provided.

Cons: Inside is starting to look dated. Theater screens are dirty, projectors are way over shooting the screen, projectors always leaning to the left or right, and slightly out of focus on the screen. Always bad wear on the film since the theater is not digital and the sound sometimes has drop outs. Seating is starting to show obviously wear and cracking on the backs and some of the chairs are broken or go down to far. Pros: Outside looks good, tickets are cheaper than some other theaters, screen is decent sized, sound is ok most of the time, and the staff is always friendly. Though the owner does have an attitude.

Since it switched management, this theater has gone horribly downhill. The screen freezes right before the beginning of nearly every movie, sometimes for only a few short minutes, but it has delayed the movie by 30 minutes before. Sound sometimes cuts out during movies. All the seats are broken. Its not very clean. They overload their theaters when a really popular movie is showing. Weve watched people pour in and have to sit on the floor. The staff is still nice, but its just not worth how expensive a trip to the movies is now days. Id rather make the drive to Gainesville anytime theres a movie out worth watching.

Planned my whole day with my friend around a show time at this theater just to find out that they had changed it. The website clearly said one time but it had actually started an hour before we had got there. I have always liked this theater and plan on going again in the future but this really gets on my nerves. Why would you advertise one thing and not follow through with it. In the past I have had an incident where they mislabeled the theaters. The theater needs some changes bad before they loose a lot of customers (me and my friends included). Improvement is needed.

the popcorn and drink prices are insane!!! The popcorn was certainly substandard. the kernels were small and more hull than anything. at these prices the popcorn should be a much better grade. the drinks are good, just overpriced. It cost more for a tub of popcorn and two large drinks than for two tickets. movie pic and sound were ok. seats need to be updated, my date sat in one that was leaning too far back on the first try. it is worth the drive to Anderson SC for better seating, sound and popcorn

The movie quality is fine and the food is great (yet CRAZY expensive) but Im looking for a movie that came out June fifteenth that they dont have. Theyre only playing five movies, yet they have six theaters which makes no sense what so ever. Its the closest theatre near me and its a pain having to drive all the way to the mall to see a movie, but since they dont have the movie I want to see, that may be what Im looking at.

My friend and I drove all the way up there just to find out that they changed the movie times last minute. So we couldnt watch the movie we wanted too. They didnt even do anything to try and help us out. If you are going to change the time the movie shows, you should also change the website so people dont waste their time. One more thing, almost everyone of the seats in this place are broken and need to be fixed.

They have a great location, excellent selection of movies but... The theaters are getting run down, the seating is not comfortable many of the theaters have multiple broken seats. If I wanted to spend 50 bucks for this kind of seating I would fly Southwest to Florida. That being said the staff is excellent and always pleasant. I just wish that they would really like them to improve the seating.

DUDE I LIKE THIS THEATER BUT WHEN THE FATE OF THE FURIOUS CAME OUT I WANTED TO SEE IT WITH MY BROTHER, I WENT UP TO THE PLACE TO GET MY TICKETS AND THEY SAID THERE FULL AND OUT I WAS LIKE OKAY, THEN A WHOLE FAMILY CAME UP AND THEY GAVE THEM TICKETS FOR 8:00 AND I WANTED TO SEE IT AT 8:00 RACIST BASTARDS HOPE U GET FIRED FOR THIS

The movie was Great, but the smell of moth balls was almost unbearable. Really dont know why they were using them. I really hate that we will probably not be going back, my husband said the mens bathroom was very dirty. It cost us 14 bucks to get in then we had one large icee which was 6.50 and a large popcorn that 6.00 bucks.

We love this place. Best prices in Ga...very good service, yummy popcorn, nice restrooms and big spacious theaters. When we go to Atlanta we pay twice as much, are scrunched in have trouble finding parking. We love that there are horses in the field next to the theater. Wow. ENJOY , See you there! The Worleys
