Latin Dance club with a fusion of Hip-Hop, Electronic, and Top 40 music with very diverse DJs. Best nights are Thursdays (casual attire) and Saturdays (party attire). Open as a Mexican buffet during daytime. Thursdays are more urban with plenty of celebrity music guests throughout the month. Its free til 12am, they offer unlimited free wings til 11:30, and free hookah for groups of 5 or more ladies til 1am. They have a bottle special thats incredible on Thursdays, premium bottles starting at $100. You cant beat that price at any place with Atlanta in the address. Usually a late crowd, expect a normal Thursday crowd to arrive at 1am. Bar open til 3am, closes at 3:30am. Fridays is more of an older crowd and they play a lot more Latin music than the other nights. Theres complimentary Salsa classes by Salsambo Dance School from 10 - 11pm. Ladies are free all night on Fridays. Fridays you dont need to purchase bottle service to get a table or booth, which makes it a little easier on the wallet if youre with a smaller group. Later on in the night the DJs switch it up into a more party music and less Latin music. Overall a great environment. Bar open til 3am, closes at 3:30am. Saturdays is by far their busiest night. Crowd starts arriving at 11:30pm, packed by 1am, as opposed to the other nights that folks start piling in at the time. Saturday night the dress code is enforced, guys arent allowed to have athletic gear or plain t-shirts. Collared shirts are preferred, even though they let certain situations slide if the outfit looks presentable. All tables are bottle service only on Saturday. Latin music dominates the early part of the night, but quickly changes to a mash-up of Hip-Hop, Electronic, and EDM trap music around 1am. Its not the place you stand around a table and look cool. Everyone is partying, everyones jumping up and down, you need to join in or at least appreciate others having a great time to really enjoy the scene. Bar open til 3am, closes at 3:30am. Management genuinely cares about your comfort, even though theyre working with an older building and its time for a renovation of some of the tables and chairs. Overall, considering location, price, service - Rumba wins at what the other nicer/fancier clubs fail at: achieving a great, friendly party environment without breaking the bank.

This was a really interesting experience, but kinda fun none the less. So its straight Spanish music before 1am and then they start mixing in hiphop. 107.9 promotes the place on Thursdays and the DJ that hosts it seems really cool! The crowd is cultural diverse and it seems like everyone goes there to turn up! Its a fun time in that local bar sense.. and u can get a bottle of grey goose for $125... "where they do that at??" RUMBA lol. Their lemon pepper wings are pretty good too. Its a dry rub that reminds me of the ones from Uptown comedy club. I was a little less than happy with the door service though. Security has no idea what the procedure is for "vip" table reservations. I purchased tickets early and had a table but still waited in the general admin line... for about 20 minutes after I mentioned the reservation. I wouldve walked away had I not dragged other ppl out with me. Oh, and their guest DJ didnt arrive until 2 AM so I wouldnt go there expecting that. Our waitress, Loren, was pretty awesome tho. Very cool (Pretty girl too btw). Id go back to see her!! :-) :-).

I am visiting Atlanta, and happened to drive by today (Sunday) at 1PM and the parking lot was packed. On Sunday (and Sat. too I believe) they have a buffet brunch from 11-4. For $13.75 plus tax and tip, it is a great deal. This is real Mexican food, not Taco Bell crap. Seven different salsas, some fiery hot, all authentic and homemade! They have homemade tortillas, a number of meat, chicken, and shrimp stews, tacos, enchildas, rice, authentic tropical drinks, etc. They also make great Horchata; the best I have had in the U.S. The only disappointment....really no dessert at all, just box cookies, canned pineapple and canned peaches. Finally, they have a live Mariachi band that is very good and a nice accompaniment to the meal. The restaurant doubles as a nightclub, so it looks like a bar more than a restaurant. But you should come here for the food and ambience, not the decoration. I think there were 5 gringos out of the 100 or so people eating there. I would definitely recommend!!

I never write a review on anyting but this was so bad i just had to let people know how bad the service is at this place, dont waste your time or money comming here. We paid $150 to get a table with a bottle and the waitress came and dropped it off with out serving us :-/ I asked her why werent we served and her reply was i only serve upon request. Then the vallet didnt give us a ticket for our car and had to somehow find the key, very unorganized!!! I also ordered an additional drink at our table and it took the waitress 30 min to bring to me. Security was also a little disapoining bc they grabed my arm and pushed me even though I am a female and wasnt causing any problems, I was just in the way i was told! They treat you like you are below them. I just wanted to go out and have a good time and it was a bad expirience, ill never go back and spend my $$ somewhere else where its deserved!!!

Employees out numbered the customers and we still didnt receive even decent service. Manager came to tell us the drink specials and when we tried ordering they didnt have half of them. Went through 3 options until the 4th was available. First server disappeared and the second sat down and ate never checked for more drinks or anything. DONT order the hookah our coal went out and we never got a refill. There was a total of 4 people in the club. We were the only table with hookah. The service is horrendous to say the least. The DJ set a playlist and walked off from booth. I work in customer service and this would be unacceptable from any of my employees. I would hate to see how service is on a busy night. The waitress was only attentive at the time of signing the check and tip.

I took the family this past weekend for lunch, unfortunately my 9 and 4 year old had not many options to eat from, so basically only eat few fries and some fruit, rest of the other options mainly are intended for adults, food taste is ok, I have to say that the "Birria the Chivo" was tasty as well as the "Posole", the rest of the dishes where nothing to be impressed about. I was looking for that real home made flavor. PROS: Birria de Chivo, Posole and Menudo Soups are good HandMade Corn torrillas and quesadillas on the spot CONS: Lack of variety for kids Price high compared to other Mexican restaurants
