Usually, I love Masque. Tonight, that all changed when me and and group of friends/chosen family were violently removed from the club because a woman verbally assaulted me as well as physically assaulted me. I was asked to leave with no explanation except the fact that the owner stated that I had to go. Now, as a highly educated person, this simply did not seem right especially when my job is to advocate for those who are often marginalized and denigrated by those with privilege. A friend came to my defense after I was physically picked up and escorted out simply for asking why are we were being kicked out when we did not initiate any interaction with the young woman or respond in any negative way. Three bystanders even told security that we were not at fault. Upon learning of this one of my friends was placed in a choke hold by a performer at the club after responding to me being picked up by the bouncer. They are in mental and physical disarray due to these incidences. I understand this is a safe and fun place for many people, but today ended those feelings for me and three other people. We will also share our experiences as to prevent any future events from happening that are similar. As someone who works diligently everyday to advocate and support those who are marginalized I am appalled by the behavior of the staff, namely the DJ, the performer, and the owner who refused to speak to us. Please be aware of bigoted people who frequent these spaces as well as owners who believe they are so important and above the "lay people" who attend that they dont have to speak with them.

This place is amazing. I have never seen anything like it from the giant screen outside to the screens inside on the first floor. the sound and lighting on both floors makes it seem like it should be in a movie. I go here a lot. I went on a wednesday and i have to say the DJs are amazing and HOT!!! the second floor isnt really my scene as far as music but it is so much fun. the dj downstairs must have been from out of state or something. I have never heard a dj in dayton play the variety that he did and make it all fit together and everyone screaming along with the lyrics. i tried to get on stage and talk to him and managed to sneak up there and get a picture. he was super cool but then the bouncers made me get off the stage. oh well had my little groupie moment. i hope he comes back again soon. i wish i knew his name so i could follow him. he was super sexy and nice and an amazing dj. the bartenders were the nicest around and the drinks tasted so good. the one bartender "Jeff" is definitely eye candy and another bartender took his shirt off and he was great to look at too. hot guys all around, great drinks and the best Djs Ive ever heard. the only downside was the fat guy smoking weed on the patio. it smelled so bad and when i walked by him inside he smelled even worse. but the staff seems to know him and look the other way. minor thing i guess. other than that the club was perfect. definitely going back every week.

I had a great time here for the most part. I didnt have any problems getting drinks or having good conversation. I rate it four stars for two reasons. The entrance fee was a ridiculous $30. The other reason being that there were way more straight people here then gay people. Im not gay myself but it is important to mention. They also played to much techno for my taste, but thats based on personal preference. Overall it is pretty nice. It really is one of the only places to go in Dayton. Whenever you wonder "What can I do tonight?" this place is usually a option, and a solid one for the most part.

Its a small club, but they have really done some nice things with it. Theres a bar and stage downstairs and a good size dance floor upstairs. The first floor uses some great lighting and design to create an awesome atmosphere. Music was pretty good. The dance floor could use more ventilation. With the floor half full it was pretty hot and stuffy, but there is an outdoor smoking area so you can go out and cool off. Clean private bathrooms. Much better then most clubs. Next time Im in town Ill probably go again.

I used to hit this club weekly.. Sometimes, up to 3 times a week! I absolutely LOVE this dance club! Its THE BEST one in the Dayton area. Ive only been to 2 other clubs besides Masque Nightclub, and I can without a doubt say that Masque is the most inviting and accepting club around. It has the best DJs and music, and there are so many fun people there! I make at least one "friend" each time I go there. I totally cannot wait until the next time I am able to go out and enjoy a night at Club Masque!

Hot hot hot boys! The masque men are to die for! The drag queens SLAY like no other. Miss Mocha Lisa is the bomb and she will let you KNOW IT. The Drag Kings are also a phenomenal league of their own! The lights are top notch, the dance floors are grade A and the drink are made by the BEST bartenders I have EVER seen. The DJs must be from another plannet, they know just how to keep the night flowing. There is endless entertainment and so much fun to be had.

Great music, clean, great atmosphere. Overall, its a very nice club. But if you are looking for a gay club then you may be disappointed. You can feel free to express yourself, so that aspect still exists, however the club is now largely a straight club. If youre a gay woman, expect all the same creepy straight men hanging around the edge of the dance floor wanting to "just watch" as you would find at any other straight club. Otherwise, a brilliant club.

Would not accept my military ID as valid identification. Un-American establishment, and after being a long time patron we will not be returning, due to the staff that treated a veteran disrespectfully and refused patronage because a soldier was overseas and only had a military ID when they returned. My military ID is good FEDERALLY, in the entire United States of America.

A great club run by great people. Strong customer focus. Excellent management. Diverse crowd with decided gay bent but many open minded straight people in attendance. A fun-loving, nicely dressed, and mannerly crowd. Two floors offer varied entertainment options. Drag shows are a hoot! Great music. Cant go wrong... if you have a pulse you can have fun there.

If youre looking for the college crowd and freshly turned 18 club, this is it. Good shows and a great dance floor. However, drinks are weak and overpriced, but that comes with the overhead. Some of the liquors appear to be watered down as well. Staff is generally great. If youre over 30, chances are youll get weird looks.

Overpriced and all they want is your money. Poor online communications lead to misleading events and sometimes ridiculous cover charges. This place used to be the place to be now it has lost its identity and attracting a rough crowd. Staff is disconnected with its customers and never makes you feel welcome.
