BEWARE!!!! DO NOT GO TO YARD OF ALE!!! THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY!!! I LEFT A CASH TIP ON GASPARILLA, AND 3 DAYS LATER MY BANK ACCOUNT LISTED AN ADDITIONAL $5.50 CHARGE. WHEN I DISPUTED IT WITH THEM AND ASKED FOR A SIGNED MERCHANT COPY, THIS IS WHAT THEY SENT ME! A "SIGNED CUSTOMER COPY" FROM SOME GUY NAMED BOB SOMETHING OR OTHER! WHEN I ASKED THEM IF THEY WERE MESSING WITH ME THEY ADMITTED THEY NEVER EVEN LOOKED AT THE SIG!?! SO AFTER TELLING ME MULTIPLE TIME TO DISPUTE WITH MY BANK, I TOLD THEM THAT I WOULD NOT, AND THAT THEY WERE RESPONSIBLE FOR MY REFUND. THEY FINALLY AGREED AND NEVER DID! (PROB JUST TO GET ME OFF THE PHONE) WORST PLACE EVER! ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK! THEY ARE THIEVES! I WILL BE POSTING THIS ON ALL MAJOR OUTLETS AS WELL AS BAYNEWS 9! DONT LET THEM GET AWAY WITH THIS GUYS! THESE PLACES GIVE GOOD BARS IN THE SOUTH TAMPA A BAD NAME!

Food was decent, waitress was in a terrible mood. I left the bar and mentioned to the waitress that I was going out to vape. People were sitting right outside so I walked over to the side of the building as not to blow vape in their faces. Waitress came out and asked where do you think youre going??. I tried to explain that I was getting away from the others so they could enjoy their meals. She said I had to give her my debit card if I wanted to go walking down the street. She made it sound like I was trying to get away without paying. They must have a lot of trashy people coming through if they feel its acceptable to take that tone with a customer. I wont be going back.

Yard Of Ale is great place, I spoke and chat with staff and they go above and beyond to avoid Asshold from running the fun for others This place is the definition of a meat market College students and a few locals (bad, ugly, pretty, stupid, smart, nerds and the rest....) gather here on Fridays from 8:00 to 10:00 P.M. to get drunk, act like sophisticated Gettho and Trailer Trash in the name of "Saint I dont care". For many, this is the best thing they will ever experience since theyve left their rural or rich neighborhoud. I ENVY them, but Reality and Facts of life will them sobber.

The rude bartender double charged me. I paid cash with a tip and the bartender charged my card as well. Not only did she knowingly charge my card after i paid cash, she took it amongst herself to add the tip also. So for my $13 tab she got herself a $21 tip. Im highly upset and reached out to the manager to no avail. Left message and called back twice with no response... be mindful of the bartenders at this establishment

Definitely refreshing compared to most of the bars in the area. Tons of beers on tap served in yard long glasses, and NOW HAS LIQUOR! Good news for those who dont appreciate craft beer, but in my opinion it is just a nice addition. If you dont like the beers on tap, they have quite a selection of bottles in the fridge... but World of Beer next door has more- so what sets this place apart from the others?? FOOD!

Friendly and attentive staff. Kitchen is open late. The wings, nachos and several of the sandwiches are excellent. Music is kept at a reasonable volume where you can carry on a conversation. They have live performers and things like live band Karaoke weekly. A more chill environment than other SoHo bars, and youll have elbow room unlike mcdintons.

Outside bartender was extremely rude. As I can tell by last review the staff has no problem being disrespectful to guests. I think he should stop acting like he owns the place when clearly he doesnt. There are so many nice places in this area to choose from,dont let this place ruin it for you. I think his name was Greg or Gary.

Good beer selection. Unfortunately ran out of draft options we came for but available in bottle. GREAT Staff! Great Mac and cheese, good pizza. Environment much less dude-bro than surrounding options! Lively area on the weekend beware of people running across the damn road as you are driving by.

A man threw a drink at a girl IN FRONT of the bouncer but he did NOTHING. So messed and up the girl just walked away. I asked the bouncer if the man could be removed and he did nothing. I am so embarrassed for Tampa as this is a popular place for young people go to and it is not safe. Weak staff.

Great beer and great atmosphere....sometimes the live bands suck and the drinks are always expensive but if the music is good and they cut prices just a little...Id probably LIVE there on the weekends.

Food and service are great although I wouldnt recommend going when its busy weekend nights. Uber Eats is a good option when its busy.
