I have been to Pi many many times and it has always been a great experience. I do have to say that 2 Fridays ago may have changed my opinion of Pi on Broadway forever. We had family coming in to town from VA and I called at 4pm to ask if they could accomodate a party of 9. The girl was hesitant but said yes. She said she couldnt make a reservation but she would keep an eye for a table so I left my name and the time we would arrive. I also assured her I would call when we were leaving so that she was certain we would show. I called at 7:30 pm and she said it was a "Full House" and didnt offer to save me the next available table. I told her we would still come and I hope she could find us something upstairs or down. When we arrived we were told "people are just looking at their menus and it will be at least 60 minutes." It was very clear to me at that point that Pi on Broadway did not want our business. It seems that a local business would care more about their Patrons than this. I feel as though I gave them every opportunity to work with us and they had no interest in even trying to seat us. I have no interest in ever trying to bring a group or anyone there.

Underwhelming pizza and terrible service leave this place as a big disappointment. Pis has an amazing expensive wood burning pizza oven, but chooses to waste it on pizza with a wafer thin crust. Im all for thin crust pizza, but this pizza barely has a crust at all. Its a complete and utter waste of such a nice piece of machinery. Everything tastes good and its clear that their sauce is homemade, but pizza with a bad crust is like a rock band with a bad guitarist. On top of that, the service was horrible. The waiter was pompous and not the slightest bit attentive. He never offered our happy hour drinks, and couldnt be bothered to check on us after the food came till everyone had finished eating. We had to pay our bill at the bar because of our server never coming back after that. In the end, you should simply avoid this place and instead head to one of the many great pizza restaurants in Gainesville. This is yet another disappointing Ocala restaurant.

Great place. Great Beer. I wouldnt try getting reservations there at 7:30 on a Friday night, the place is small and popular and usually packed by that time, and a larger party is just impractical no matter how you look at it for a small popular place. And its been a year since that other guy posted who said they would be closed soon because it was their fault they were closed the two times he tried going... well they are not closed. Using your cell phone next time will fix that problem of making plans and the other claims are just untrue. If you want great food, amazing beer ... Pi is your spot. Awesome venue upstairs for music in the night air. Warning though, its busy at night on the weekends ... :)

Pi. Somehow there arent many paces in the Ocala area that fit this mold. Good food, good drinks (w/ specials) and a great atmosphere. Prices that wont break the bank... and on the weekends and occasionally week nights a very crowded and fun rooftop patio bar that even sometimes has live music. If your looking for a place to hang with some friends to grab some drinks with the option to have a bite if you get hungry, this is deff on my list of places to go. Ive had quite a few of their culinary creations and I have yet to be disappointed.

From a bar perspective, it is a pretty cool place. This is especially true when the weather is good and you can hang out on the roof. There are a lot of different beers on tap, and the atmosphere is at least done up pretty nice. From a restaurant perspective, it is nothing exciting. Sure the pizza is cooked with a flame, which is my humble opinion is the only way to cook pizza, but at the end of the day, the food just isnt that exciting compared to other places with similar pricing. Just treat this place as a bar and youll be alright.

Music can be decent, food is good, but service is terrible. Both in my dining experiences and at the bar. The bartenders literally ignore guests to watch tv and talk to each other. After being ignored multiple times, even on nights where its not busy, Im over trying to drink here. Youd probably get faster service if you walked down to Omalleys, got a drink, drank it, and came back. Last time I ate here I never saw the server after ordering, and had to go find him to finally pay, after leaving us at the table. Terrible.

Great atmosphere, we ate dinner on the roof top, we had to wait for a table as everything was full. Once we got a table we were waited on right away and the waitress was awesome, I couldnt make my mind up on to beers on tap so she brought me over samples of both which made my choice clear. The food was ok, the 3 little pigs sandwich was dry according to my father and son, my California BLT was also a bit dry, but the pizza and tacos were good according to other family members.

Starting with the Pi its not your usual chain or franchise food. This is the way Pizza should be enjoyed. The ingredients are fresh and made to order by hand, then put in their stone fire oven to cook. While you wait, get a craft beer from a local favorite or import. Its all good. My favorite part of the place is upstairs on the roof. Lots of seating, love music, and another bar to serve you. I really enjoy myself everytime I come here.

First time... Ben was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Had the California BLT and Chicken Florentine Pizza. Extremely Good! Sandwich was huge served with root vegetable chips. Brick Oven Pizza is thin crusted and prepared in front of you in open bar/dining room. They have an open air roof top patio and live entertainment on various nights. Full Service bar... Happy Hour (2-7) and Craft Beers on tap. Ill definitely be back!!

We went around 2:30 pm on a Saturday. One party of 6 in the center of the downstairs room dominated the atmosphere and the only waitress. After a long wait, very "nothing-special" pizza arrived. Crust was not as good as a Boboli cooked at home; it had no cheese; toppings were very bland. No second chance for this one. Pi needs to recalculate the ingredients of its pies.

Awesome spot to chill, have a drink and eat good food. Im a huge fan of Margherita pizza and they pulled it off flawlessly. The atmosphere adequately balances a great space to eat, socialize and enjoy the live music. Whether youre looking to be entertained or make new friends, Pi on Broadway is an ideal venue and sure to set a standard amongst both.

This place has some of the best pizzas in Ocala. You can even build your own pie by choosing each topping, the cheese, and the sauce. However, only come for the entertainment if you are prepared to stay up late. We went once and the music was very loud. The band we came to see was opened by another band, who didnt finish until after midnight.
