For all of the parents out there thinking about bringing your children to adventure landing for a great time. Ive been going to adventure landing with my kids for many years now and i notice that it is slowly degrading. This is my first time writing a review on a business, but ill take my time on this review because everyone needs to know what adventure landing is really like. Laser tag- laser tag need more seats, when waiting on the next game! Sometimes the room will be so packed that some people have to stand and sit on the floor. When getting a vest youll never know if it has a problem. My child once received a vest with a broken buckle, so he couldnt buckle it up, we made the employee aware of it and they said that it would be "Okay" as if they were to lazy to give my son another one. And it doesnt end at that my youngest daughter April who is 6 years old "was to small to play" i thought adventure landing was for all kids of any age to have fun, but yet you guys cant invest in getting smaller vests for smaller kids. After one game of laser tag everyone is 100% guaranteed to sweat, it is just too hot! With 20+ bodies in the arena the AC should put out cooler air so i can be comfortable while playing laser tag and trying to enjoy time spent with family. The arcade - My family and i love walking in adventure landing and seeing all of the flashing lights and games, but the downside is that the majority of the games have an out of order sticker on it. You only know its bad when the same game has been out of order for a longer period of time. Not only that but, the games that are supposed to work take your tokens without letting you play or doesnt give you your tickets at all. And trying to find someone to help you can be a hassle. Ticket counters- there needs to be more of these ticket counters, because waiting in a line full of angry people isnt always fun when only one out of the four ticket counters work. Waterpark- the water park is amazing, only needs more seating on busy day. Restrooms- they need to be checked hourly to restock toilet paper, Im a lady and using the restroom without toilet paper is just disgusting, and unacceptable. The Diner- when food is requested to be made fresh it should be FRESH! Maxflight- i dont know if your aware, but the camera that I was suppose to watch my son and husband on while they were on the maxflight attraction, i couldnt see ANYTHING, the screen constantly goes in and out, i dont know what camera is being used, but it is outdated. Remember it isnt too late to fix any of these problems. All i ask is that they be fixed in a reasonable amount of time. You wont see my family or i here ever again, because we discovered Main Event.

I know it sounds like something crazy to say it was better than Disney...but it WAS!! And less hot!!! The time we spent with nine families (including 11 children) at Adventure Landings Shipwreck Island Water Park was what the kids called "better than Disney". Tucked away in Jacksonville Beach, is a beautiful water park that is affordable and a whoe days worth of entertainment. The park offers discounts on their website which help; and you can pick different days and hours that are most suitable for your kids ages..To host that many people for a birthday and have such an amazing response, was such a great way for our neighborhood to end the summer together. Everyone called "the perfect end of summer bash". Even the grandparents rode slides and enjoyed the wave pool. Theres really a lot to do; but for the most part, we felt safe in letting the nine-year-olds and above circulate the water park and ride the rides as parents watched and/or participated. The staff was very focused on our fun and our safety - so, I wasnt ever worried. Mercedes and her birthday team made everything seamless and terrific. I think with all the big, fancy amusement areas like Universal and Disney, we forget that we have a true treasure in Jacksonville that was JUST AS MUCH FUN for the family. WAYYYY more affordable and absolutely less hot, sweaty and tiring! Theres nothing like a great water park in Florida to cool the family off for a day of fun together! We love it at Adventure Landing!

Go Karts a bit slow for my liking. Mini golf is acceptable, but nothing special. Decent arcade. Theres a water park, but I didnt try it. Tiny alligators out front. Theyre real, but real lazy. The arcade area is plagued by maintenance problems. We had to summon help three or four times to unstick the ticket dispensers in games. The employees were helpful and willing, but maintenance should be better (plus, the tickets are cheap paper). The ticket counting machine is also slow, theres a big line (where Im currently writing this review) and the machine is liable to jam. I suggested a scale to the employee beyond the counter, he smiled and nodded. A scale identifies the number of tickets in minutes. It took us fifteen minutes (sorry kids behind us) to run our tickets through the counter. Im adding back a fourth star because I just finished feeding the alligators - highly recommend this. Three dollars (with a one dollar deposit for a gator-stick) gets you a stick and eight balls of gator food. Impale the food ball on the metal hook, and drop it in. Fun! The laser tag was fun, but highly under used. I feel like three or four improvements would make this place amazing.

Not very kid friendly here, splash pad is nice but summer waves on jelkyl island georgia is much better. In georgia they have rides u can ride with your young one. Me and my one year old can ride on a raft together here, being they provide tubes with bottoms on it to hold in the child. Was given season passes to adventure landing but have no plans to renew them. Summer waves in georgia has cheaper admission is more kid friendly and overall alot more fun, it may be a hour north of jacksonville but the cheaper admission will help offset the cost of gas. Big city of jacksonville waterpark has nothing on the little country town in georgia water park. Definitely recommend going to summer waves in georgia as they have more and much better rides and definitely more kid friendly at better price. 2 rides here could be made more friendly the red slide and the big blue slide, just need the waterpark to provide better rafts with bottoms for the young ones. If this was done i would consider renewing our passes

WARNING!! GREAT WATER PARK..BUT...BIRTHDAY PARTIES...PLEASE CONSIDER THIS. At "table time" they rush you to have pizza, sing, cut the cake, take the photo, open gifts & and leave the table. Even if no one else is waiting & they have 4 other tables available. You get exactly 1 HOUR...and not a minute more. Make sure your guests are all on time & dont expect to get too comfortable. The birthday child gets a gift box that is unisex...no box for a boy or Girl. My son got lip-gloss in his box. Nevertheless, I will admit the Pizza was yummy (tastes like Sams Pizza) that the Water Park was SUPER FUN, and the kids had a Blast. My advice is to bargain with them or insist on an hour and a half. That way you wont feel so rushed, and any late guest wont feel like they missed out. Jacksonville is a large city & its not always easy to make it on time when you have smaller kids. The last thing you want is pressure to get in & get out.
