My girlfriend and I traveled down to Orlando for vacation to visit the parks and do some golfing. We decided to book a tee time at MetroWest based on reviews and the price compared to some other courses in the area. Upon our arrival the course was absolutely beautiful and located in a more "up-scale" area of Orlando. When we walked into the pro-shop to check in for our tee time we were greeted by the attendant who immediately asked us if we had a change of clothes, pointing out that we werent wearing "proper golf attire." We were both taken back by this since we were there on vacation and didnt think much of how we were dressed to go play golf on a very hot day. I can understand the logic behind the rule but it was not as if we had shown up in tattered rags or our swimsuits to play golf. We were adequately dressed for the occasion. Not to mention that this rule is not made clear on either their website or the site that I booked the tee time through. After we explained this too him he snidely made the comment that we could go down the road to Walmart to buy a change of clothes since the apparel in the pro shop is expensive. If not, we were not granted permission to play on our their course Needless to say, we were both entirely insulted by the experience as we were looked down on simply because we didnt comply with their dress code. The fact that we both share a common love for the game of golf should be enough pre-requisite to play on the course.

Oh MetroWest. MetroWest is kinda like the hottest wings at your fav bar. Sounds good in the beginning then you have to rethink your life choices halfway through. Lets start with the jerk behind the counter (who looked exactly like Stewart Cink) and had the air of "I wish I were anywhere else but here" and believe me buddy, I had wised you were anywhere but there when I checked in. Sorry youre not on tour where you think you should be, but maybe try and act professional, not like a arrogant prick. The course: conditions were 90% ok.....except for the occasional massive (3 or 4 feet) of hard pan next to a lot of the greens. And the fairway on number 7....whoa. It literally looked like someone was growing cabbage in the middle of the fairway the weeds clumps were so big. Probably the worst part was that they are in the process of filling in almost every single bunker on the course. So so so sad to see. Its SUCH a great design and layout, and last time I checked, golf courses were supposed to challenge players, not coddle them. Some bunkers were sodded in at least 50%. Im sure that guy who owns Celebration Golf and his infinite stupidity made that decision. So sad to see MetroWest. I probably will never be back.

First time weve played here. As public courses go its just par. Starter was friendly but he should have restricted the day to foursomes only. We were flooded with singles and twosomes. We were in town for the NBAA and took a couple of customers out before the show. The place was very busy and felt we were pushed the whole day. One was a B player and the other a D so slightly slow but nothing out of the ordinary. (No way to compete with twosomes) No water fountains anywhere and beer girls were only out on the back nine due to a church group playing so no Drinks. Course also has no Ball washers either. Carts are GPS and in good shape. Greens were consistent but slow. Pin location was accurate and markers jived for the most part with GPS. Several of the tee boxes were rough with no signs of backups. Thats it from here.

Very over priced!!!The layout of the course is very nice. Pretty wide fairways and the hills make it fun. The reason I gave it 3 stars was due to pricing. WAY over priced. They live off of the local players that are retired and members. I mean the course is usually around $80 until after 2pm and its still $60 for twilight hours? Get real! They could make so much more money if they lowered prices. Ive only been able to play twice because I am a hardcore weekend warrior but cant spend that kind of money regularly. Stop being money hungry and lower your prices. It also cost around $30 for a 6 pack of budlight. Its like being in an airport. Ridiculous. Go play Northshore Country Club. Its just as good and so much better pricing.

Not worth your time or money. Played it Aug. 5, 2016. Fairways were in poor condition, roughs were too gnarly and needed mowed. Some tee boxes looked parched and decimated. Greens had just been aerated, which is routine maintenance, but the golf shop should have told us of the greens had been punched and top-dressed when we called to make a tee time! The previous time I had played the course I swore I wouldnt return because the bunkers and greens were pitiful. They had since overhauled the bunkers and greens, but course maintenance overall continues to suffer. Too bad, cause this is a nice layout, has some great holes. My playing partners and I walked off and said, Thats it. Never coming back.

I play MetroWest Golf Club every week as I have been for many years now thanks to highly rated pristine conditions. I am always taken care of by outstanding management and a very friendly and welcoming staff. Out of all the golf courses to choose from I will always choose MetroWest Golf Club, because I can always play at a fast paced round and have a truly memorable experience in the process combined with a great price. If you give MetroWest Golf Club a try you will immediately feel like part of their family.

Good Layout with some interesting holes but was DISAPPOINTED in the overall condition. Rock hard muni-track like greens send wedges ricocheting off greens into the sparse rough with a heavy dirt overtone. Tee boxes were not up to par also, so the lack of putting the money into the course spoiled some enjoyment perhaps. Will give it another shot when I hear they got it back in decent shape, which according to these prior reviews may not be until these owners change their business model.

Located at beautiful and upscale Metrowest Neighborhood area. Gorgeous landscaping. I loved the scenery with lakes, pines trees, tunels and gorgeous sunset views. I was so lucky this day, because on the top of the hill, I was able to see Downtown Orlando and a space shuttle taking off from Kennedy Space Center, how cool is that? The winter is warmer in the Sunshine State. I feel soo blessed to be here. The staff was really nice and helpful.

Gone down hill a bunch, not worth it . 3/27/17 Ok have to update the place played the place again, much has improved the greens are in great shape T boxes need a kittle help and ruff also, fairways were decent, a good move in the right direction. Always have liked the layout good challenge, just some more work and hopefully back to the place we use to luv..

Horrible!!! I waited 45 minutes after my tee time to tee off. Pay $35 and only got in 9 holes. I called first and they told me that it was "wide open", however the starter told me that it was an obvious lie to get me to come there to golf. Nice course but liars in club house. If you dont mind playing a 7 hour round then this might be an OK place for you.
