Course was always fine but nothing special. My friends and I started avoiding all of the courses owned by this group a while back because we just always felt like more of a bother than a guest. However, for this specific case, I needed to play there with my son. I called ahead regarding a special event and had a fair conversation with the person on the phone regarding a 9 hole rate. He was helpful and clear about the rate for the event. When I went in 2 days later to play though, the person at the desk was not aware of the rate. With quite a bit of attitude he quickly calls the GM and confirms the rate. Then when paying he stops again and said it only applied to my son and I must pay the 18 hole rate. I dont have a problem having a conversation about a misunderstanding whether on my part or not, but this person had no concern our customer experience. It was definitely not an issue for us to walk away disappointed. Why would I pay for 18 and my son pay for 9? Not only that he wants to charge me the full rack rate. I knew the online rate was 20% lower but apparently I was not able to get that rate because I didnt book online. How could I book online when I called ahead and confirmed that it would be a special 9 hole rate? Needless to say we decided to walk away. No one wants to play where they are not appreciated. Sometimes you go back to a place hoping it will be better than you remember. In this case I was reminded why we stopped going there in the first place.

This is a good, solid, challenging course. I live in the area but had yet to play here until recently. The front 9 is the standard style open Florida layout but does have a couple of tricky spots. There is water in play on at least half the holes as well as marshes and trees. The back 9 is links style and (to me) even more challenging. Even a moderately decent golfer will lose balls here. This course is less about grip and rip and more about placement. On several of the longer holes I found it better to go long iron or hybrid from the tee to take some of the hazards out of play. I love the greens but there is one hole (16 I think) where this elevated green seemed designed by Satan. If your approach is a low trajectory or not in the center of the green it will definitely roll off. I have now twice had pitches from the right side hit the fringe and roll across the whole green and off the other side. It is EVIL! The staff is friendly and there is a decent practice area as well. A great value!

Common themes in these reviews are: (1) price bait-and-switch, (2) rude service, and (3) wonderful course. Ill keep my review short and say that Ive played here enough to say these three themes are true. The course keeps me coming back, but I will be trying Eagle Creek (thanks to the review below) because I dont know how much longer I can deal with the price bait-and-switch and (consistently) rude service.

This place will scam you on the price they send out emails offering rates as low as 1499 only when you book online you can bring the email and then they will not honor it and if their website down they still not honor even if the website will not accept tee times or not work

This wasnt a bad course but the old codger starter was a f**king a$$. He was extremely rude to us because we were 5 minutes late. Anyways the manager made up for it with free range balls and lunch. However, their food sucked the big wazoo. Not sure if I would play there again.

Ive played most of Orlandos courses and this was the worst experience Ive had. The course was in very poor condition and the staff was extremely rude. There are too many good courses in the area to waste a good day at this place.

Course was okay for the price. We arrived 2 minutes late to the starter and got lectured about arriving on time. Seemed to be a little extreme since the tee time before ours still hadnt even hit off the 1st hole.

Great course in great shape. I gave 4 cuz 5 stars for me would be a tournament course. But every trip I make to Orlando. I end up playing here at least one time

Nice place. I’d play here before some of the more expensive courses in Orlando. The conditions are good and the price is right. Overall a good experience.

Greens in good shape, but tee areas ( I hope r getting redone ) had no grass on them at all.. Otherwise fairways were good also

The course is kept in good shape and has a fun layout. The rates are reasonable and the staff is friendly. Cant go wrong here.

Definitely a tight course. Back 9 was more difficult. Only a handful of open fairways, but made for a great challenge!
