1st of all, this is a 5-story arcade with a few really cool interactive activities and "rides." So yes, it is considered an "indoor theme park" but of course its not as big or as grand as a theme park. 2nd I cannot get over the fact that people are saying this place is not updated. It is not meant to be! The amount of different experiences they incorporated since opening thus far is far more than enough to have an exhilarating experience, theres no more room for more games really! & The awesome part about DQ is that it does have those old game cabinet games we all grew up with and loved and if your kids are too tech savvy for that it is a shame. We should teach our kids where all these new, awesome games came from and how they evolved and thats through exposure to pac-man and those old Atari games. Where else can you take them so they dont look at you confused when you talk about arcade games? I-drive? because thats far more disappointing and unkempt than Disney Quest. Disney quest has a huge variety that Im sure every kid can appreciate! 3rd yeah it may be $45 to get in but HELLO this is DISNEY! Everything is expensive so go into it with that mindset. It used to be WAYYY more expensive to get in and because theyre closing prices have plummeted so idk why people even mention that. The awesome part about that is, after you pay the initial price you dont pay anything extra to play! You can play allll day off entry price as much as youd like! Yes, there are some out of order games but they are played all day and night and Im sure there is no gaming engineer full-time on 3rd shift fixing these. Even with 20 broken games there is much MUCH more to do to keep yourself entertained. 4th This is not a "failed Disney experiment" it has actually been hugely successful since opening and with all of the other updates going on with Disney WORLD WIDE they are not concerned about fixing things that are not broken. 5th many people mention they stayed only for 15min-1hr before getting bored and leaving, that is unfortunate because you cant even see the whole place in 15min-1hr so if your time constraint falls between that time frame dont bother. You need like 3hrs+ to have even seen everything there is to do there. Conclusion: Disney Quest is truly a unique experience with activities and such that you wont get anywhere else! Get in while the getting is good, get a little souvenir because theyre closing down this year!

I get the feeling that Disney quest would have been amazing had I visited it when I first heard about it in the late 90s. The rides and attractions feel like they come straight out of a Chuck E. Cheeses circa 1997. The entire place was somewhat empty, somewhat dimly lit, and somewhat archaic feeling even though we did manage to have quite a bit of fun. It is filled top to bottom with arcade games both classic and modern and they are all set to free play so you can pretty much spend an entire day doing nothing but gaming if you so choose. There are several attractions based on assorted Disney properties, some as old as the Mighty Ducks, and they all entirely feel as if they havent been updated in more than a decade. They are mostly fun, dont get me wrong, but when you are surrounded by the rest of Disney and its entertainment options this is more of a diversion on an exceptionally hot or rainy day during your visit. Pro tip – if you wait until a few hours before closing, they knock half off the price most days and you can honestly get everything done here in 2 to 3 hours.

I waited at least 15 years to visit Disney Quest. There never seemed to be time to visit on previous vacations. Our most recent Disney vacation package included 2 free tickets, so we set aside a day to go. My husband and I are both video game fans and we had a lot of fun! We also brought our 5 year old son and he loved it! For years, Id heard about some of the unique attractions such as Virtual Pirates of the Caribbean. We made sure to do all of them and they did not disappoint! They have several of the Wreck It Ralph video games and I was thrilled to get to try it. It was great not having to worry about tokens or game credits. We could let our son go wild playing everything he wanted. We ended up spending 8 hours there and probably would have stayed longer if we didnt stop for dinner. It was a wonderful experience and is definitely something we would add to our trip in the future. Sadly, weve learned that Disney Quest is closing next year, so we will probably never be able to go again.

Cant believe I used to enjoy this place when I was younger. Are you a car guy? More in particular, a standard transmission kind of car guy? Well you wont find any games that interest you here. The stick shifts have been removed because they have been broken or simply because no one drives a manual anymore so its cryptic to anyone who has never driven one. So they decided to remove them. Like Pinball? Wont find it here. The multiple comments of the smell is not wrong, its very evident. Joysticks are broken whether it be a flying, fighting, or even a retro game. No maintenence to these games seem evident. In fact, Im writing this review INSIDE Disney Quest. Its funny how I spent money to come here for one last time and Im sitting on a chair instead writing on how poor my experience has been. Good reason this is closing so no one has to share the same terrible experience Im having. Good riddance.

A really awesome place to pay one price to get in and play arcade games from the past and present. There is an additional fee to make your own CD, or have a DVD of your cyber space mountain ride. Staff is friendly and Disney Quest is very clean. There are a few reviews about broken games? Weve been there dozens of times and have seen ONE. And yes gamers do keep hitting continue until they finish the game. There are also no coin operated games in the meaning you have to put coins into the game. I truly wonder if these people have ever be to Disney Quest? This is not like anything you have at home. there are five stories of games. If you are not a gamer I would pass it by, dont spend around $45 to come in then whine it sucks. If you love games more than likely youll love Disney Quest. The food is on par with fast food but then again its an arcade, with restaurants nearby right outside.

Do not waste your money!!! I read up on Disney Quest and was super excited! My husband and I love video games and virtual reality, so we couldnt wait to see what Disney had to offer. We were sorely disappointed. First of all, it was dirty and dingy. Bathrooms were clean, but everything else was sticky, stained, and dingy. The games were so ridiculously outdated that I wanted to complain about the $91 we had to spend for admission!! Plus, it seems some parents use this for babysitting, as there were many children under the age of 13 running amok, cutting lines and knocking into people. The Pirates game is kind of cool, but in the middle of our gameplay, one of our cannons broke!!! Overall, a very sad and terrible experience-not up to Disney's usually pristine standards. Do not waste your time or money.
