Son of a Seseabiscuit has a hot pepper overlay, very unique. Get a 4 ounce and come back to it throughout your experience. White Hart Bramble hits you with berries in the front and calms into an ipa. The berrys lingers, real nice. Caution, It is easy to have a few of these in a row. Maven Chocolate Milk Stout is smooth, sweet and has no bite. Very good milk stout. The unkindness Black Ale is as smooth as the Milk Stout with a lighter texture. The Quackalope IPA has a 8 out of ten on a hop scale. It drinks easy and still pulls the bitter parts in your cheeks. It lends to a light hop without spicy undertones. The environment is perfect for a fun drinking session. Great patio equipped with cornhole. Bar has a great ambiance (currently playing Marley). Bartender Brett is very friendly and open to discussing the undertones of the beer even when he is busy. All in all this is a great spot. ENJOY! UBER! AND DRINK RESPONSIBLY!

Bartender provided efficient and courteous service throughout the evening without issue until my friend and I wanted to continue our conversation out back tonight. Bartender saw we headed out back, and met my friend and I outside of back of bar abruptly. Bartender freaked out, claimed we were stealing their glassware and that we were not allowed out back with drinks. Politely and patiently asked if we may finish our drinks in front of barkeep, or bring drinks back inside to finish, and he continued to freak out and took our half full beverages to dispose of without further discussion. Shame theyve lost a couple of easy-going local customers.

I LOVE Barley Mow! Im fairly new to the craft beer scene and recently discovered this bar from a friend and have been three times since! Great vibes, and even better beer, in a very clean and friendly atmosphere in a very unexpected part of town. Corn hole and tables are outside on the patio/lawn area, often with live music. The spicy beer is unlike anything Ive ever had -- it is DELICIOUS and by far my favorite! Now just waiting to try their infamous smore brew. A really fun place to go with friends who are into craft beer, or looking to try something new. They have a full liquor bar and wine available too! You wont be disappointed.

This is a great brewery and bar. The most important part of any good brewery is the beer and their beer is fantastic every time. They deliver good stouts, wheat ales, and funky spicy brews that will make you excited for more. Their stouts are fantastic and they have a pairing board flight that is joined up with Pinellas Chocolate. There is live trivia and live music on their outdoor patio. While they do not serve food, they often have food trucks or you can grab some bbq from across the street. The staff has always been friendly. Its not too far from the Pinellas Trail so I suggest you check them out as an after-bike reward.

My only regret is that I didnt find this place sooner. Calm, cool atmosphere with extremely tasty beer! I moved to Largo from Dunedin where my stomping ground was Dunedin Brewery for many years...Yes, I am comparing it very well to that brewery which is a fabulous compliment. They are still new and growing but so far I dig it. No food, thats right but they dont mind you ordering from the local joints and eating there. I really dig their blonde and wheat ales here. They are also dog friendly- nice relaxing back patio in downtown Largo, cant beat it really.

Im not to surprised by the past bad reviews. If you notice the past clients are uneducated drunks that are not happy because there is no more RAP Music playing. Finally a place to relax again! The new owners are doing a great job! And they actually work there to. Where as in the past the old drunk bartenders that stole are not there anymore. I guess there review is there last way to hate. Anyway,,,, This is a lovely establishment for somewhere to meet with friends and have a great time. Thank-You!

Went to Barley Mow with some old friends to catch up. I will definitely be visiting again. The bar itself is small, but the brewing equipment adds to the decor. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The back patio with bean bag toss is amazing. Great atmosphere. They do not serve food, but they will let you order in take out. Like another reviewer said, the BBQ next door is out of this world. This is a definite stop for anyone in the area. We should all support local businesses like these.

The website made this place look like you could eat dinner here... big mistake! Only a few snacks, couple of sandwiches and personal pizza available - nothing else. Service was excellent - our waitress was really nice - just very disappointed since were here visiting from out of town and thought wed get a good dinner in a nice little pub. They only have about 3 items that are listed on their menu on the web. Dont go if you are expecting to have a good dinner with a selection of items.

Its been a while since Ive had beer that really stood out. Very delicious and good variety of beers- ale, IPA, stout, etc, and they pour tastes if you want to try before you get a 16 oz glass. Ive been twice, and keep looking for reasons to go to Largo. Both times Ive been, people come in w growlers to take beer home, and I think this is going to be my plan too. They do sell some beers in cans and Quackalope IPA is also at my Publix, but nothing beats straight from tap.

This is just a bar and not a golod one at that. They bill themselves as an Irish Pub but they have NO FOOD! Just a couple of snacks. I asked about this and they were not willing to even discuss it....like...this is what it is. so i stopped going in there. Prices are high for area and no real attraction to this place. DO NOT go here if you are looking for Irish type food as an Irish Pub would have. OK for a quick drink

With a very friendly staff and long selection of brews, I actually like this place best for the patio. There’s always a mini crowd relaxing there with a drink and always some quirky local artist playing. Both are awesome. The crowd is very laid-back and very diverse. The bands are always very talented, likeable, and play at a very good level so you hear them well but you can still hold a conversation with others.

I drive by Barley Mow every day on my way to work so once they opened I decided to stop in after work one night. I have to say that the owners Jay and Colleen were very friendly and welcoming into their new bar. They are a wealth of knowledge when it comes to different types of beer. If you are looking for a place to come with great beer and even better service and hospitality stop in and check it out.

They are OPEN TUESDAYS. The staff is incredibly nice. The beers are amazing. They serve flights and will fill growlers that are not Barley Mow growlers (some FL breweries dont do either). You can bring food in from local places. There is nothing to dislike and everything to love. @Barbara - it is a brewery, not a restaurant, not fair to give a bad rating because of lack of food choices
