The owner and his wife run this brewery and homebrew shop. I stopped in with my BF after searching for a local brewery on my way to the airport from Clearwater Beach. The beers were great, 4 8-oz pours for $12, served in lab beakers to go with the lab theme. I had the honey cream ale, wheat ale, smoked red ale, and tropical IPA; my BF also tried the porter and black irish stout - all were delicious, but the honey cream ale was my favorite! Grindhaus is very small, but draws a really friendly crowd of people and the owners have a good sense of humor with the beer names and descriptions (e.g. description of their black Irish stout is "Extra dry & extra dark, like our sense of humor"). The owner/brewer knows his stuff and has neat events, like free movies and popcorn at 5PM on Fridays and Saturdays, free BBQ on Sundays until its gone, and Im sure others that I am forgetting. Its a shame we dont leave closer, but would definitely stop in if we are in the clearwater area again!

Premium Painters

Small batch, handcrafted beers on tap. Everything made in-house! Unsuspecting location, very cool bar, great vibe, and most importantly... GREAT BEER! Perfect to check out for happy hour. The owners are extremely knowledgeable about brewing! Besides the bar in the rear, they have a store for all kinds of home brewing supplies! You gotta check it out!!!

Small batch brewing! Some great options leveraging a smooth cream ale as a base, with seasonal fruits and honey. The Big Kahuna IPA was very balanced and drinkable at 6.7 ABV. The Raspberry/Blackberry wheat is my favorite summer beer so far. Get in an enjoy before Robb and Lisa get too famous!

Small local brewery with a great selection, really good craft beer, and a fun and welcoming atmosphere. The decor theme is grindhouse movies, they even have popcorn and show movies in the tasting room. We loved it! A brew supply store is also on the premises.

Dont be too quick to judge this location, from the outside it looks iffy but inside it was a neat atmosphere. They had about 6 different beers on tap, all of different variety and all very tasty. Very friendly staff, also a neat little store up front.
