Sorely disappointed! Staff needs customer service education! We arrived around 4pm on a Thursday afternoon. No one looked up from what they were doing to greet us or even indicate that we could sit wherever we wanted. ( Saw 3 groups come in after us and had the same experience). Patrons should not have to wait to be greeted or stand there and guess what they are supposed to do to get service. I walked over to the right side of the bar/restaurant to view a chalk board with the wines listed on it. One waitress was rolling silverware, looked up at me and never said a word! Appalling!!! No descriptions of the wines listed on the chalkboard, just the names. Another server finally came and delivered wine list and menus with no greeting or welcome. I have to say Im glad we decided not to order food. It was greatly apparent that they must get enough business over the summer months to not care how their guests are treated, what kind of service they deliver or the overall experience of their patrons. Best I can say is that if you like sweet wines, theyve got them. I call my experience SOUR GRAPES!

This place pretty much sucked. Went there with my wife and siblings-in-law. First off, although the waitress was nice enough, the wait was unbearable even when there werent that many people there. The main draw is supposed to be the wine/cheese and their pizza. Well the pizza dough was apparently "still frozen" so we werent allowed to order that, even though other people near us were eating it... Then we order a cheese platter with some wine samples, turns out to be terrible. Every wine tastes like cheap swill and the cheese/meat rolls were room temperature and sweaty... gross. The artichoke dip was mediocre and rubbery and the pesto frenchbread was just drowning in olive oil. And the mustard chicken... dear God, the amount of mustard was disgusting. Clearly the cooks here are just winging it. Basically everything about this place left a bad taste in my mouth, and I urge people to try somewhere else. Im sure these other 5 star reviews are fake, they have to be.

Went there to buy a case of wine. Thought I would get a bite to eat. I sat down and no one greeted me. I waited..and waited... and still no one came over. The bartender was there and about 4 people at the bar. A game was on the tv. So I went to the bar and bartender seemed in her own world. Ignored, I tried to make contact with another guy who went by me to the kitchen. He ignored me. I said excuse me..and he never came back from the kitchen. So I left and bought a bottle of wine at the market. I agree with other list that customer service is spotty.Rather go to the village pump or casino uptown.

The winery itself was beautiful. I myself didnt drink any wine (just grape juice), but everyone I was with said it was quite good. Unlike the other reviewers, we were attended to quickly without issue. They also have a nice porch for seating. I personally think the wineries on Put-In-Bay are nicer, but this one isnt bad.

I truly enjoyed the homey atmosphere! I bought a bottle of the sweet red and finally cracked it a couple of days ago...WoW!!! Like drinking grapes out of a bottle, followed by a sweet red warm...now I need to find a place to buy it off the island! Help?????

Nice place. Great atmosphere. The wine is more on the sweeter side but we found some we liked. Also had the cheese tray which was very good.
