We visited Wonderworks in Orlando yesterday and was extremely disappointed. First we paid 25.00 a person to get in and judging from the outside of the building we thought we were in for a great time. Upon arriving we waited in line anxiously thinking this would be great for the kids. Read online how there were over 100 hands on exhibits/attractions. The first thing we did was the hurricane but we were told you wont get wet cause we are currently out of rain. How disappointing. We then ventured up the stairs, as soon as we turned the corner a woman rudely said put your feet here to my son, now jump not even explaining what this attraction was about and said ok now step off and went to the next person. Next was the mind reader thing with the ball, waited in line and when it was our turn we were informed that the one side was not reading so the opposite side would always win, we then decided not to even bother. Walked over to the simon says machine which we tried over and over, I think it was broken cause it wouldnt go past 3 times. Went to the bubble lab and it was so crowded we could hardly get in and no one was there supervising kids throwing soapy water all over the place. My son got a small turn in there before I decided to leave the area because we were getting soaked by unsupervised kids. The bed of nails line was very long so we decided to move on and come back to it later, upon doing so I decided not to participate because they were wiping the pillow with a dry towel without spraying any kind of sanitizer on it. Went on back to the next area and the line for the rollercoaster thing was so long we walked around and did the hearing thing which I still am not sure what that was even all about cause it just seemed like a simulated ride of some sort with no explanation. Went on back did a little bit of trivia then went to see the spinning wheel that shows you how the clouds move once you look at them. I then quickly realized that was it. I kept looking for more rooms or floors of stuff to do and found nothing. We were there for about an hour and couldnt believe how much we paid to entertain our kids for one hour. I decided to visit the restroom before leaving, walked in and right back out, it was so dirty, I am not sure when it was cleaned last let alone even checked for toilet paper or paper towels. We walked down to leave and I was completely shocked at the game room, my kids wanted to play probably due to the lack of entertainment they experienced. I had to tell them no way were we spending any more money here. I cannot believe this place still has attendance to keep it running, I am guessing they have the luck of being in a huge tourist town and people dont know any better.

Expensive but worth it. As a budget-concious family visiting the Orlando area for a quick weekend trip to Disney, we came across WonderWorks our first night in Orlando. Our kids were anxious to check it out at first sight due to the whimsical upside down building design of the attraction. After checking in at our Hotel, we went over to WonderWorks and parked in the attached garage ($6). Upon entering, we were first greeted with an advertisement for the Dinner Show, which was a Magical/Comedy act which came with all you can eat pizza, drinks (including wine & beer), salad, and desert (cake). Since we had not eaten dinner, we decided that we would go ahead and check it out. At the box office, there are several options available in "package" form. We chose the highest-level package for us and our kids which included the Dinner Show, and tickets to all of the attractions, games, etc. that WonderWorks has to offer (Laser Tag, 4-D movie, High Ropes adventure, etc..). When we first got there, it was a couple of hours until the 8:30 dinner show, so we explored the three floors of the facility playing arcade games and experiencing the special attractions. The dinner show was simply spectacular. It was funny and the magic tricks were phenomenal! In fact, I was personally chosen from the audience as a "volunteer", where the magician/comedian took a $100 bill from me which I had written my name on, wrapped it up in paper, lit it on fire, and threw it at the audience, where it disappeared in a bright orange flame, only to appear several minutes later in the center of an uncut lemon! It was fantastic! Overall, this place is somewhat expensive, we spent $180 for two adults and 2 children. That being said, we were on vacation and had already budgeted for eating out & entertainment. And all in all, we had a blast!!! The dinner show may seem a little on the high side for just pizza & salad ($25), but the show makes up for it. I HIGHLY recommend WonderWorks, and would definitely come back next time were in Orlando.

Ok, so I booked a birthday here and my experience wasnt the best. Heres my review. It is extremely loud and chaotic in there. It was difficult to find a staff member to answer a question or direct us. If you include the VIP package and plan on visiting all 3 floors, get there early. We waited 1hr 45 mns just for the ropes course and never got to the Laser Tag or the 4D experience. We got there at 1:30pm and there wasnt enough time to visit everything before our comedy dinner show. There are ways to make the lines move much quicker in my opinion. The ropes course only lasts 5-10 mns tops but they have two high schoolers running it and half the time they werent paying attention or moving it along. We werent told about signing a waiver until we were actually up there for example which could have been signed during THE ALMOST TWO HOURS OF WAITING IN LINE that we spent standing there. I was told conflicting versions of what to expect for the dinner show. We were told wed be up front and would be priority seating. Instead, we were seated more to the side with an entire row facing the wall. We were told that we wouldnt have to wait in line for the dinner show and would be seated first. Instead, we were actually told to not worry and just wait until everyone else was seated because our seats were reserved. So, instead of sitting comfortably, we had to wait while everyone else got seated and got their group pics before us. When asked if we could get a group pic, the photographer said, as soon as I can squeeze you in. I asked to speak with the manager who came out and reassured me that our table was reserved so it wouldnt matter whether we went in first or last. Also, our picture came out really bad. The lighting was off and we looked far away. The photographer basically snapped a super quick picture to get us out. The upside was the pizza and drinks were good and the show was actually funny and entertaining.
