Terrible service, cold steak, too loud bands. Tried it twice. The first time was one of the worst dining experiences wed ever had, with a band very loudly warming up and repeating "test test" for half an hour (we timed it!) over already blaring canned music. The appetizer and soup was good enough we came back to give them another try. This time we waited 15 minutes for the waiter to take our drink order, of which only half came out, claiming the empty bar was "backed up". We had ordered beers. Ordering a second round later saw the same problem repeat. All of the food was cold, with the exception of the crab legs which were great-- except for only making it to the table after the other three people in our group had already finished their entire meal! The final bit of entertainment was a drunk patron who would go table to table singing to the guests, picking up other diners food and drinks, and loudly shout across the room. Management did nothing. Avoid this place at all costs.

I prefer to give this restaurant a minus stars. I went to 18 on the rocks on St. Patricks day and was holding a large table for my friends who were on there way, but was repeatedly asked to give up my table as for a group of folks waiting to be seated. I finally gave my table up after being pressured to do so. Then really looking forward to eating corn beef for St. Patricks day, they served me a slice that was so thick i could barely cut it! I actually pictured having a chain saw for this meat .The rest of the vegetables were portioned for a baby.i was hungry but I didnt complain. The new manager is a very sensitive guy but only cares about himself. He is rude. He treats people or should I say customers like a herd of cattle. Push you in, throw slop in your face and never ask how your meal was. The waitresses are pushy too. Wow a minus star restaurant in my opinion. The bar side seems ok but the new manager needs a additude check.

Great location and facility but management and good service is severely lacking. Went in to a high top table for four and waited 10-15 minutes to even be noticed. (They were not busy). After finally approaching the bar to ask, a young male waiter came over to take drink orders. Another 15 minutes passed while we watched the bartender have social conversations and our waiter stand around staring in space. Finally got drinks and asked to order food. After about 10 minutes longer, the waiter came back because he couldnt remember the order!!! Seriously! Waited another 30 minutes for food, which was marginal at best. One taco had a moth in it, but we laughed that off considering outdoor dining and the situation. We have a lot of great restaurants within a few miles of this place. It will be some time before I give them another chance.

So Im hired to play at 18 and on my last scheduled night to play there, I arrive and theres another performer on the stage! The manager explains that theyve decided to "go another direction." No problem with that but the courtesy of a bit of notice? Ha explained that he "tried to call" earlier that morning but maybe the call didnt go through. Two things wrong with that. First of all I had of made multiple back and forth texts so my phone number was easy to find but most agregious, you tried to call me the morning of the day of the gig! Incredible unprofessional and disrespectful. Maybe but a sandwich but whatever you do, dont work for these idiots!

Great experience! My wife and I ordered the "Live Maine Lobster" special tonight. After we put in the order she said "Oh, I hope its just the tail and not the whole lobster" I know that she doesnt like looking into the eyes of a dead critter so I asked our server Nicolas if he could just serve her the claws and the tail and he said no problem. This is the second time we have eaten there this week and both times it was a friendly, wonderful experience. We love the outdoor seating and the overhead garage doors that open the dining area to the outdoors. Thank you again for a wonderful experience...

This place can be hit or miss depending on the crowd and the day. Ive been there when there are a lot of obnoxious people that ruin the fun and Ive been there when there is a great crowd and its a lot of fun. They need to have more live music as that seems to help the mood and the crowd there. Adds to the atmosphere and fun. Food is so so, not very many drink specials. I think if they improved their menu, drink specials, wine selection and had more live music this place would be great. Lacking in a few things, but still not a bad place to hang when there is a good crowd.

The food was horrible, biker type environment (where even the bikers dont stop) is smokey. The staff was more interested in playing grab ass n checking their text messages. I brought family friends in on vacation and one of them got sick from the mahi mahi sandwich. Its dirty and what looked like the owner yelling and pacing on his phone in the back room. Wouldnt recommend unless your stranded, or need a place to meet your drug dealer? I might recommend this place to a lonely cockroach looking to meet lots of friends...

The food is honestly excellent and always served hot and in good time. The specials are amazing and weather youre eating the off shore menu or the on shore you be disappointed. My personal favorite is the mahi mahi and the sirloin. But the Jack Daniels Buffalo sauce is incredible as well. Kristen is "the server" to have. Her waiting skills are impeccable and my family and I always enjoy having her. If youre in IRB you have to try 18 On The Rocks and ask for a table in Kristens section !

Back when I was cooking at restaurants on the beach, I was a customer when this location was Cusos. Since then, this place has gotten better, 10 times over. You could tell that everything was clean, and the remodeling looks amazing. My bartender, Joy, was absolutely great and on top of service. Nice relaxed environment, and a great little beach bar. Ill definitely stop in the next time I am riding through for a cold beer and a snack. Great job, 18 on the Rocks!

We visit this restaurant every year and the food is always wonderful. We have our favorites: seafood pasta and clam chowder. The service is spot on, making suggestions and keeping our drinks filled. We witnessed the staff serving a large 20-top and they all worked together efficiently to get their orders while not neglecting is. Even the manager worked the tables!

I definitely enjoy every visit to this quaint little beach bar. The staff is very friendly and the wait time is short. I havent had anything on the menu I didnt like yet. The burgers are definitely amazing! My boyfriend and I stop in once every few weeks. Great food and the bartenders make pretty good drinks to boot! Definitely suggest this place.
