Ive never been to the new location the only location I remember was on Fletcher Ave in Tampa I had many many wonderful times there seeing a lot of bands too numerous to mention,anyway I read in the TBT today that Cannibal Corpse was playing their 25th anniversary concert tonight I called the new mug the guy that answered the phone well he was just RUDE I asked him about the show he said it was all but sold out dashing my hope I could see them,i asked if they ever advertised their shows he said they didnt which is bs and then he hung up on me.I called the jerk back and then he tells me im the only 1 in Tampa that didnt know about this show I wont be going to the NEW brass mug I just wish for the OLD brass mug what a metal place that was.

Ive been coming to the Brass Mug since I was a teen. Im 30 years old and back in town so I went to the new location and had a great time. Chris was on the grill and served everyone with fresh hot dogs and burgers. Brooke was at the door and was really friendly. Amber was the bartender and spent the whole night being very attentive with a smile on her face the entire time. Collectively, everyone did a great job and made everyones night. Definitely looking forward to coming back soon! Recommend this place for anyone looking to have a real time.

I like this concert venue. I dont think they always do this, but when I went there they had two stages set up so that bands could set up while other bands are playing. They have a good location near the university and some visiting cats on the back porch.

Played this venue four or five times with my band...great time every show...The owner is really awesome and always makes sure we get free drinks and leave with money...definitely add this stop to your tour

This venue is one of the best in the bay area to see local shows. Great bar staff as well as selection.nice big back patio to chill and the atmosphere is amazing.I love the brass mug!

Decent music venue. Its nice that the pool tables are free of charge, but the venue as a whole is very run down. The mens bathroom doesnt even have a toilet.

Bartender was unfriendly. But I like that I can go outside on big porch to get a break from all the people/music.

Good local bands. Typical smoky dive bar. There is an outdoor deck which is nice to get away from smokiness

Had great time loved the live music.bartenders are great.the owners are always there and very nice
