The treatment of the animals is poor. I would never recommend this place, the treatment of the animals should be much better considering the crowds, they could certainly afford to have provided a shelter for the bird, clean water for all the animals. it could be a nice place, if they cleaned it up. f There is an owl tied to a weight of some sort on the ground. Thats it, it can walk around the weight , it has about three feet of line. There is one place for shade, under a palm tree if the sun is in the right spot. I saw this night time animal in the early afternoon in the heat of the Florida summer, with no where to hide, to escape the heat, sun, nothing. Surely the owl is not the important part of the farm. And if this animal is wounded, it belongs in a wildlife sanctuary where it can be taken care of. I was appalled that no one seemed to care. Wont you help me by writing the local news, the ASPCA and human society, the police perhaps, and bring attention to the care of these animals. This is a big business, lots of tourists, especially foreign, and what an impression they must have. The iguana also sat in small cages -- with filthy, green water, mold growing on the container. While we certainly cannot gage the comfort of alligators quietly laying in the sun, the pond they have, and there are many, many animals i n there, apparently has no currents bringing in life to naturally recycle and clean the environment they are in... I would not close the park for the alligator treatment nor the short speed boat rides, but the treatment of accessory animals is far below anything acceptable, and the standard by which we treat the innocent - animal or human - is the standard of our collective morality. Please, place the owl in a new environment, not chained to a piece of metal in a yard so that people can look at it as they walk to the alligators.

The following comments and remarks are a full and complete review of the Alligator Farm: The farm is a fun and excited place, full of alligators, snakes and crocodiles. The reason for which I gave it a 4/5 is because I have watched a lot of videos on other alligator farms and shows and this place wasnt what I imagined. Below, are the pros and cons: Pros: Airboat ride was amazing. You are gliding through the Everglades at around 30mph with the wind in your hair and smiles on your faces. Be careful though because the drives will do some turns and tricks and you WILL get wet. The farm provides ear protection (at least for the time I was there- Dec. 16) Price is alright, you are paying $27 USD for the airboat and the shows. There is a coupon on the website that saves two dollars per person for the airboat. After the shows, the wrangler was friendly enough to allow all the viewers to hold the snakes and alligators. Dont be worried about not seeing any alligators because the farm has about 2000 alligators. The park is honestly maybe too full of animals. Cons: Size of the park is very small. There is much you can do while you are waiting for the shows to start. The enclosures are too smalll for all the animals in there and it seems a little inhuman. The shows are for young children, ages 4-12. They are very short and not that entertaining. The shows were uneventful and rather boring to be honest. The airboat ride wouldve have been much better if it was longer. The feeding of the alligators was quite boring. The wrangler would just throw small amounts of meat to the alligators and they didnt even seem to be hungry.

Lets start with the good. Good- Free parking. (Caution, no parking for large vehicles. I.e.- RVs, motorhomes, trailers) good luck trying to turn around after you get here. Almost clean restrooms. (Caution, no main door. People walking by can see in the restrooms.) Bad- They give you a cartoon layout map. It says where some of the wildlife is located, but when you walk all the way around in the hot uncovered sun on loose white pebble rocks (cant take a wheelchair or stroller). Youll be very disappointed and feel bad for the alligators lying around on dry mud with dirty brown water. The airboat ride is very short. They make sure to get you wet, rather than educate you on the native Florida wildlife. They provide you with covered earphones. (Beware, two problems here: First they are dirty. I dont believe they sanitize them before the next user. Also they dont block out the loud engine noise. They make you buy foam ear plugs in the gift shop. (a long walk from the airboat area) The snack bar trailer is overpriced for the small portions you receive. (its better to wait until you drive back into town to get a bite to eat) For the price of admission, youll see almost everything in under a hour & half. Id personally do more research on other "Alligator" places. There are some better ones a lot closer to Ft Lauderdale & Miami that are larger and offer more thing to see and do for the same or less than the price of admission here.

Unfreundliches Personal, wenige Informationen, null Show. Dafür dann noch Trinkgeld zu verlangen ist ein Scherz. Das war nicht mal einen Stern wert.

!!!!! Disgusting !!!!!! This one star is way too much! i honestly have to say that this was a total waste of money! to see aligators is nice but id rather see them in their own territory. Not in cages. The airboat tour was fun for the first 5 minutes but after that it was just the same! Boring. I was shocked when i saw a panther there in a cage that had the size of my living room. Disgusting. If there has to be a panther he should live in a cage that is way bigger than this and with all stuff he needs! Also the little monkey that was ALONE in his cage looked so sad it broke my heart! He also had to grab a banana from outside! For me and my family this farm is just cruelty to animals !!!!!! If you really want to see gators you should choose a way where animals do not have to suffer for humans entertainment! And if you have a heart for animals, you should never go there because with the entrance money you just support this bullshit!
