I have had the fortune to have fished with Captain Richard on a number of occasions. While I consider myself to be a pretty good recreational fisherman, each time I fished with him I left with a wealth of new information about not only fishing, but the entire intercoastal ecosystem. Speaking with and learning from Captain Bradley is worth the trip by itself, but he never failed to put us on fish. While on Lagooner trips, we have landed our personal best snook, redfish, kingfish, tarpon and he even put us on a sailfish. I am also impressed with the amount a care Captain Richard puts on the safety of his Guests. This is very evident in how well he maintains his boats and motors. He also carries this over with his other equipment as well. His gear is always top-notch and in pristine condition. I value his opinion so much that I reached out to him when I was looking to buy my own fishing boat. He spent a lot of time giving me the pros and cons of different flats boats. He certainly did not have to spend time doing this since he was not "on the clock," but I know he did this out of his passion for fishing and his commitment to his customers. I took his advice and bought an Action Craft since he swore by it. There might be a problem with my boat though, it does not catch as many fish as Captain Richards boat!

Its hard for us to believe, but our adventures with Lagooner Fishing Guides began over a decade ago when we came down to Florida for a weekend get-away. Over the years, we have had numerous incredible fishing trips with Capt. Richard! He is the BEST and has always given us an amazing adventure. Weve not only landed beautiful fish, but we also get a new history lesson and lots of tips on making our time more special while we are visiting. One year, we even brought our team of employees to enjoy a few days of fishing and talk on his boat and they are still talking about that, 3 years later, as their "best" memory! Capt. Richard makes you feel right at home, whether youre a fishing pro or a first-timer. Hell keep you entertained with the tall tales and true stories and youll never believe its time to go inland because the time will fly by. We have recommended Capt. Richard to everyone we know who is making a trip down to the Cape Canaveral and Cocoa Beach area. His excursions are worth every penny and we always look forward to our next time on the water with Lagooner Fishing Guides. And when you go, tell him April sent you!

Captain Richard was amazing, after a short fishing trip I felt like we were good friends. He knew the fishing territory, it was too windy and high surf to go on the ocean so we stayed in the bay and caught 5 species of fish. His boat and equipment were top notch as well. He is very personable and accommodating to your needs. He has an awesome sense of humor which made an incredible fishing trip all that much better. He gave us pointers of what local attractions we should see before heading back to South Dakota, his advice was spot on. His wife, Captain Gina, called us to see how we were doing on the drive home. I would recommend him to anyone and plan on going back. Not to say that he is old :), but hes been doing this all of his life and knows his business! He is friends with other guides in the area and they communicate with each other to put their clients on the fish. All around awesome operation, I wont go anywhere else.

About 6 years ago, I was staying in GA for a month of training and was looking to do some fishing on a weekend. I found Lagooner on the web and had the most incredible experience! Even though I live in California, Ive returned to fish with Richard and Gina 3 or 4 more times. Anytime I get close to Florida, I make sure to call the Bradleys and book a trip. They have become good friends and show me true hospitality and I always look forward to catching up with them. Oh yeah...and the fishing is amazing! My work dictates when Ill be in the area so I cant plan when Ill be close enough to fish the Space Coast. No problem, Richard and Gina always know how to put together a great fishing trip in any season. If youre thinking of fishing with a guide, make sure you give them a call. You wont regret it!

Unbelievable! Captain Richard Bradley guided me on a fishing trip I will never forget.... We made our way out of Port Canaveral early in the morning..... Capt Richard found bait almost immediately and in one perfect cast we had all we needed. We then proceeded to sight fish for some of the biggest snook Ive ever seen in my life... and proceeded to catch over a dozen trophy snook between 15 and 28 lbs!!!!! I still cant believe it happened... what a day. I can whole heartily recommend Lagooner Fishing Guides and Charters for the experience of a lifetime! Thank you Captain Richard!!! Next time lets go for some of those monster trout and redfish you told me about for winter fishing!!

Excellent guide fishing in the areas where he grew up - puts me on fish every time I go because he know his way around. Nice well maintained rods and reels, and his Action Craft boat is a phenomenal ride and gets into skinny water for the big reds!! We were targeting reds, and Capt. Richard put me on the fish! Thanks to Gina for being so accommodating with moving the dates because of my schedule change! You all are great, thank you, and I still have a smile on my face!! Look for me to plan a trip with you again!

Captain Richard, thank you for our day with you on the ocean.... it was perfect. Ill never forget reeling in my first King Fish and my first Cobia.... seeing all those fish on the back of that huge manta ray, then seeing them chase the bait.... wow! I get excited all over again just writing about it! You were worth every penny and probably more.... thanks again for all the fishing fun! I gladly recommend Lagooner and Captian Richard to anyone who wants the best fishing guide on the planet!!!!

Sometimes you cannot trust online reviews. I can assure you that this is not the case with Capt Rich of Lagooner Fishing Guides. Look no further and book your trip. I fished 1/2 day solo. Worked out perfectly as a little weather rolled in early afternoon. We caught a mixed bag of inshore species. The fishing and conversation were both enjoyable. Anytime I am fortunate enough to be in the Cocoa Beach area, Capt Rich will be hearing from me.

What an awesome day on the water! My husband and I were on a hunt for king fish and cobia. Capt. Richard knew just where to go to put us right on the honey pot of cobia and kingfish. Captain Richard was a great guide, great company and really knew the water and his fish! I would recommend Capt Richard and Lagooner to anyone looking to have a fun day of fishing and a fun evening of dining on your catch of the day!
