DO NOT PATRONIZE A RACIST ESTABLISHMENT My wife and I were playing blackjack and watch them throw a black man out who was trying to lodge a complaint about his treatment on the crap table a few feet away. We heard everything he said to the manager, he was not rude but rightfully upset how he was singled out from others, who were allowed to spend money gambling on themselves only when they were the shooter, but the man was told he had to bet $10.00 minimum on every player at the table first before he could play at all. He didnt bring up race. The man kept asking to see such a rule, and or, an explanation as to why no official rule exists in writing that can be verified as a true rule of the game of craps. He was told the individual dealers makes up own rules up as they see fit because there in NO written rule. Thats complete nonsense! The Delaware Park floor manager whos white, she responded unprofessionally telling him how much she was not interested in his complaints and the dealer can chose who has to bet every player at the table, and who does not in order to play the game. She was mad at him because he raised this question before by informing State Officials. She said that to him. When he demanded to speak to onsite State Lottery officials to lodge a complaint, she instead called security to arrest him. Everyone took notice and was like WTF? the man had every right to seek clarification from the State or file a complaint and not be surrounded by uniformed guards carted off like he did something wrong causing people to speculate. All we continually heard from the Delaware Park floor manager was "There is no written Delaware Park rules or policy he could read for none exists, and that they can do what they want, and how she was not going to summons the State Official so he could file a complaint against her or her crew on the floor" It was a Saturday and at least 7-10 people was on the crap table. There was 3 tables working and my wife and those nearby saw exactly what the man claimed. Several were shooting without gambling on others prior to shooting. It happened on all the tables. The manager kept trying to ignore him talking about a 2 dice hitting the back wall complaint inquiry he made some months ago against her crew, when he was the only one held to that so-called rule, and was refused to see such a written rule on the grounds none exist. THEY TOLD HIM "YOU CANNOT THROW DICE TOWARDS THE END CORNERS SO THEY ROLL AROUND THE BENDS." WHAT?!!! He latter returned back to the area walking with an Security Manager and a State Official before heading off by himself to a different table. People in front of him were standing at the table without placing bets and were given the dice to shoot. A white man walked right in the game directly in front of the man, and was handed the dice with no prior bet, just walked up to the table and was handed the dice to shoot. Delaware Park managers started demanding he be kicked out claiming he was observing the table and could see what we saw happening supporting everything he said. The man was standing 15 feet away from the table shoulder to shoulder with 3 White men and 2 White women watching the game. He was talking to those next to him and when he motioned towards the white man who just walked up before the dice was given to him, and after they all looked at each other, they had him arrested. The man was correct when he said he does not have to spend money on other throwers first to play, and he was willing to wait till everyone had their chance so what was the problem in that? I hope he takes legal action. I will testify how he was wrongly treated in such a way. No one deserves to be treated at a place the way he was with its hand out requesting a bail out by my state tax dollars. DELAWARE PARK HAS LOST A PLAYER, REVENUE AND GAINED AN ANTI-LOBBYIST BEFORE THE STATE LEGISLATURE.

Would give the cheap pizza place 4 stars and the casino 0. 600 bucks and zero pay outs. (nothing above 10 on a six dollar rolls!?!?!) Thats on a "progressive slot." So yeah save your money. Or set it on fire, probably more entertaining and satisfying. Also not a fan of losing every hand when "a certain manager" walked by and fiddled with equipment. Happened multiple times all day. Nearly every bet 100+ and almost every one of those people lost. Manager looked super busy, but certainly wasnt checking anything else as I have seen in many other casinos. Was just following high bets.

I cant see how it got all those stars I been a patron of this casino since it opened it has gone down hill. Not many people win, can bet minimum and still not hit bonus round. The pay scale on machines are way lower then the machines in Parx Philadelphia Park or Atlantic City Casinos. No free liquor only soda, water and coffee at Delaware Park Casino . A lot of machines are ringing are not for jackpots but machine errors. If you want to give your money away go to Delaware Park and after you visit please give your review. oh yeah Not much in slot cash or comps.

No comps to speak of, poker room is not professionally run. Call ahead seating is offered for poker but totally unreliable. I drive just over an hour to get there only to find my call in seat was not entered into the system, then told too bad and stuck at the bottom of the list to wait for another hour. This has happened to me more than a couple times. Played at Harrahs in Philly for the first time this week, I was very impressed and I think for an extra 20 min drive Ill be playing there from now on.

I chose one star because zero is not an option, My son and I came here with a group and he is 18 so he cant gamble which is not the problem he had to use the restroom and was told he had to go back outside go around the building to another restroom but he is on a knee walker with a broken foot when their was a restroom in the main building because he wasnt 21 he couldnt use the restroom. There are also restaurants in the casino but my son and I couldnt even go in and eat at because of his age.

If you play NLH then they have many tables with a minimal wait. If you play anything else prepair to be treated like a 2nd class citizen. The comps are stingy but the food prices are more in line with a sub shop than a casino. Only casino Ive seen without a buffet. They have monthly family fun day where you can bring the kids and watch the horses. Pony rides, face painting, bouncy houses and more to entertain the kiddies while you wager on tommrows glue.

Crabcake dinner at Legends was excellent, lumpy, an so delicate in flavor that I tasted the deliciousness of the crabmeat, the warm homemade bread and sides served with the meal were just yummy. Our wonderful happy server, Barbara, with her attentiveness made our night memorable. It was a great Saturday night at the casino slots too. I found a few fun an winning machines. I will definitely go back. Soon. Enjoy and Good luck to all.
