This is by far the most poorly organized venue from the second you get off the exit ramp to the second you get back on it. If youre coming from 84E, youll be greeted with possibly the longest red light in the country. I swear to you that Im not exaggerating in the slightest. The light is on the road where all of the parking and the venue itself is. I think me and the hundreds of other cars were waiting close to 10 (yes, 10) minutes for the light to turn green. We had thought the light was broken and people started getting out of their cars. There were cops at the light "directing traffic", but they literally did not do anything. So 10 minutes go by, the light finally turns green, and then we get to slowly moving. On that road, before the venue, are a few parking locations where you can either pay for a private lot in gas stations, or park in the massive open area for free. If you were to go down that road more, you can park at the venue itself. So we decide to try to see if there are any spots open at the venue instead of parking in the free lot about 1 to 1.5 miles away. However, we were routed by extremely rude officers to park in the free lot. Okay, I guess the venue was full. However, they didnt even give the option which made me think what if I had bought VIP parking passes? They wouldnt let us park at the concert? And whats worse was that they let other cars through! They just completely randomly directed cars in different directions. It was an absolute cluster-f***. So we get to the free parking area and its whatever. Mostly tailgaters and people having a good time. Awesome. However, the walk to the venue is over a mile away. Extremely frustrating, but it is what it is. Now, my biggest gripe was AFTER the concert, coming back to our car. The gate we drove through to get in to the parking area was CLOSED. AND. LOCKED. Are you kidding me? HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE HAD TO SHIMMY THROUGH A HOLE IN THE FENCE TO GET TO THEIR CARS. Seniors, children, disabled people, had to try and find a way to get through a hole in the fence so they could leave. There were no cops directing anyone to an alternate route. This was the most horrendous thing Ive ever seen at a concert venue, let alone any public function. The place is an absolute dump. The only good thing is that the tickets are pretty cheap compared to other venues and the venue itself is smaller, so any seat really is a decent seat. Other than that, this place is disgusting.

I enjoyed it overall with a few exceptions. Pros: *Handicap accessible from parking to seating. *Fairly large lawn space where lawn chairs are allowed and rented. *You can bring in your own water and food. Food must be in a gallon ziplock. No coolers *Projection cameras for the lawn, but with enough of an angle to it to be able to see the stage as well. *Covered actual seated area for a price. Cons: PARKING. If I have a ticket I should be able to park at the venue and not have to walk over a four lane highway to get to the venue. Parking at the venue is available if you arrive about 2-4 hours early. You can also get VIP parking for a huge price. And private parking lots offer for a price as well. Cheapest I saw was $15. This is ridiculous IMHO. Not everyone that is unable to walk far has a handicap plate. * $$$ I guess that is the biggest part of the music industry in the digital age. suck them dry at the show. Covered seating area tickets are more than double the cost of lawn seats or more. Rent a lawn chair. Buy anything. Park your car AT the actual venue. Sit in a covered area in case of rain..or close... or actually ON the stage for some shows... But it will cost you a bundle. Upgraded area is bountiful and lawn area is not. *Security is lax on the lawn. Smoking is permitted. So is underage drunkenness apparently. I moved my blanket three times and still ended up having a sleeping drunk teenager who was previously wrestlefighting his friend right next to me AGAIN. CT people use hateful words too, regardless of who might be sitting right there. *Unless this is a kid specific show, do not bring them. Too many drunk people doing stupid things ruin the fun for others. Kids would just be out of place and possibly hurt. *Trash everywhere. Fries, beer cans, nachos all over the lawn. Gross people in CT.

Had the most amazing time at the xfinity theater for the Tom Petty concert on June 14th! So lets get to the point. I see negative reviews of people complaining about parking, driving and space. We planned and bought our tickets back in February. Paid a little extra but was so worth it because we bought VIP! We arrived at the theater at 5:30. We had VIP parking although we took an Uber that made it stress free and extremely convenient! We were allowed in 30 minutes before everyone else and had no line to wait or stand in. The VIP area was beautiful and clean. Our own personal bars, live music and able to sit down to be waited on. It was relaxing and ordered from a pretty decent menu. Plus they were providing fresh cigars if thats your thing. At our leisure, we decided to head to our box seats and comfortably and patiently wait for the show to start. We had our own comfortable seats with space and a nice little button to press for our server. She was great and extremely quick! 5 minutes before the show was over we ordered an Uber. Took a nice walk on such a pleasant, memorable night to meet our Uber driver a few blocks away and made our sweet ride back to our hotel. The entire evening and night was seamless. To the negative reviews.. You should probably plan. Leave early to get there early. You should expect the worst if you dont plan and show up late. If its someone as big as Tom Petty you should know its going to be chaos. Plan, spend a little extra and youll have the time of your life. My picture will show us at the concert in our seats with practically nobody around. We had the time of our lives and zero stress! Thank you xfinity theater! Our experience was great!

Traffic control was not efficient at all. Took 45 minutes after getting off 91 to get to parking. Once inside our night started decently. We bought box seats for Sam Hunt and were center stage pretty much. We were the first people in our box and took the back two seats. After a while the other people arrived that where in our box section. Im all for having a good time and enjoying the night and the concert, but there is no need to dry hump, grinding and basically performing lap dances. Respect other folks space, within in minutes the chair in front of me was in my lap, with no regard from the intoxicated 20 something year old female. Selfies with your tongues down each others throats isnt fun for everyone either. Xfinity staff took notice and had a conversation with the young couple and the female seemed irritated. Xfinity staff and supervisors spoke to them on three separate occasions. As Sam Hunt started his set we moved our chairs into the open space in the box entry area. The staff did there best to accommodate us, but after two songs into Sam Hunts performance my wife had had enough and we left the concert. With two young children at home we dont get out that much and we had hoped that last night would have been an enjoyable night, but because of obnoxious, intoxicated individuals in their 20s my wifes night was far from enjoyable. Ive been in lawn seats with beer spilled on me and drunkards tripping over us and still had better nights at concerts. This is not a knock on Xfinity Theater, just a rant about our ruined night by other patrons.
