no handicap accommodation what so ever!!! no separate entry for them, parking, or good seating WHAT SO EVER!!! however, staff was very and I mean VERY polite. in fact, if it werent for the staff I would rate this place under 1 star if I could. this place needs more food choices and lower prices...omg too expensive!! seats are ok and comfortable to sit on but floor seats suck and I will NEVER purchase floor seats again unless its the first 5 rows. I saw Tyler Perrys play which was good but floor seats arent raised up the further you go back which they should be. this means...if you have someone tall sitting in front of you OH WELL look at the TV screen -something that you can stay home for-!! please listen to this review or dont and waste your money!

Bought tickets for Avatar show a couple weeks ago, now XL center having promotion where the seats I purchased are significantly cheaper. In fact with the promotion I couldve gotten better seats for even cheaper than what I paid originally. Called XL center to see if I could at least upgrade my seats (since they offer absolutely NO refunds). They refused. Asked if I could maybe get credited the difference for future XL center tickets, still were not able to do so. Terrible way to do business with customers who bought tickets early on. Will never buy tickets to this venue again.

The game was great however, the xlcenter is just a dirty old building. The security staff would not let this little 6 year old child into the rest rooms. The reason given was she had to clear the area, at best maybe 25 people had to leave this area. There were no public rest rooms in the loby and no one was allowed inside the arena. This could have been fixed with a few cones and security tape. This was a wolfpac game, the center was not even 25 % full. Hey Hartford wake up you have lost another customer.

Dont GO!!!! I was very disappointed in this bike show. It was the Flea Market of motorcycle shows. I can go to these dealers for free, instead I had to pay 27 dollars to see nothing new. Only 2011 and used bikes at this show. Plus they advertised Honda and Kawasaki and I saw none. Plus the biggest dealer was from New Hampshire and Foxboro, I only saw two CT dealers. If I was a vendor at this event, I would want my money back. Very Disappointed, dont go.

Did the job, but nothing special. Access and egress quite challenging due to narrow passageways. Was surprised it was up to modern building codes for emergency egress. Screwed up our tickets too (bought ten together, "helpfully" upgraded us in three groups of 2-4-4 -- not what we wanted for a family day out; felt like a real bait-and-switch; after objecting they must have taken someone elses seats to accommodate us all ten together in a front and center row)

The seats are close to the action....not as big as some of the newer larger indoor venues. Parking underneath is great. The food is not so great....unless you were short on sodium for the day. Wish they had a couple of premium stands to choose from vs burgers, dogs chick tenders, and fries. But, as long as you go there for the event and not the food, youll be ok.

Every single employee was rude and argumentative. They could not answer a simple question. "Which exit is on the east side? " their answer is the are all leaving through that exit right there. "Ok thank you but which exit is on the east side?" There is no reentry. " ok I understand that but point me in the direction of your east exit. " Unbelievable.

Buyer beware of the non refundable tickets. Their website does not give an option of reviewing the final order before purchase and by mistake I placed an order for a different date and now there are no refunds. Also all sorts of fees were tagged on to the final price such as $2.50 for delivering the ticket to my mobile phone!

I normally go to hockey games here. They are pretty good, but getting into the event has become a problem. There are less and less people checking tickets, so you have to wait in line forever. Even showing up 30 minutes early does not mean you will get in on time. Food and drink are also way overpriced and not the best

This place is wonderful! They have the best shows and concerts. Also the Wolf Pack games are so much fun for the whole family. The building maybe old, but the improvements they have made are really great. Looking for a fun safe place to go and bring your family, the XL Center is the place to bring them.

Sardines in a can have more room to sit than you do here. Have to sit almost sideways just to get in the seat. The mens restroom you are literally rubbing elbows with the person next to you at the urinals. Will hate to come back here for a concert or something.

Cant bring in drinks (Im talking water here) and did not provide options to buy until 2 hours after event started. Then charged $5 for a small bottle. Rude security. Dirty and dingy, poor set-up for viewing (at least where our event was). Adequate parking.

I saw rihanna here and i know she isnt the best live performer but the space didnt help either. The lighting, the sound, the acoustics, the TVs, the bubble machines, all seemed sub par and dont get me started on the drinks and bathrooms.

The XL Center is a good place for sports games. Ive been here for hockey and basketball games and have always enjoyed it. Be warned that food and beverage prices are on par with expectations: I paid $5 for a bottle of water.

Good venue just not utilized enough! The mall inside is nonexistent nowadays. The updates to the building make it more appealing. Food inside is not the best and nacho cheese is extra. Get beer in bottles not from the tap!

Events here are always expensive. Everything is overpriced from concessions to tickets to souvenirs. Its unfortunate because if the pricing was better, more people would be able to attend events more often.

I attended a monster jam here. The venue is too small for this type of event. The food and beverages are outrageously expensive. The only booths with decent craft beer were not open for this event.

Dear Hartford, the enormous TVs in the middle of the arena are great. What makes them even better are the speakers you literally hung directly in front of them on all 4 sides. Is this a joke???

Saw all the UCONN men and women preseason basketball games. I parked on the street near the train station and walk up. Tickets were just $10, nice atmosphere and Huskies fans are the friendly

Its fun attending the XL Center, and its much larger than youd think. The acoustics in the venue are great, the service is strong and the surrounding area has a warm "blue-collar" feel to it.

Staff is very friendly and organized. Old building but they seem to be keeping it up. Parking is abundant in the garage and its right across the street. Its also well lit parking.
