I will start off that the attractions for Halloween are decent, but the hype that I was given did not justify the entire experience. It is definitely not worth a drive from almost an hour away, but I could see it being more fun if you are local. We went on Saturday, October 24th, 2015. First, not enough parking around the town or signage to handle the crowds by 7:00. We ended up paying $20 to park in a private businesss lot after circling the towns parking lot 4 or 5 times for nearly 20 minutes. Next we waited in line for over an hour just to buy tickets. When we got to the front, there seemed to be three separate lines from inside the park and the line from the street (that we were on) that all converged to one ticket booth, each line getting one window. Had we had just entered the park and hopped on one of the other lines, it looks like it would have been a much shorter wait, but there was no signage or directions from the park about this. Ticket packages are a joke. You can either pay around $20 (cash or American Express only) for each attraction separately, or 2, 3, 4, or all 5 attractions as packages to save money. The problem is that the packages are all set with which attractions you can go to, no choosing the 2 or 3 you want. You think you are saving money, but that is only if you want the attractions that they dictate to you per package. For two of us, we spent over $60 for two of the two attractions (which includes Blood Manor and Uncle Needles funhouse) The lines for Blood Manor were over an hour long for an about 10-15 walk through. The lines for the fun house were much shorter, 20 minutes, and an other 10 minute walk through. After this point, it was 11:30pm, we were tired, and still had to drive an hour back. We thought we would be there a much much shorter time so we could hit one or two other houses on the drive back. This did not turn out to be the case at all. Between the lines and the time trying to park, and only about 25 minutes of being inside the attractions, it just was not worth the $80 expense ($20 parking and $60 tickets) to justify the night out. Go either much earlier in the season, be local and get there early in the day to enjoy the rest of the town, or just skip it entirely, I do not see our return anymore after this year. Too busy and not staffed well enough to handle the crowds.

The park is small with only about eight real attractions. The pay-one-price is high at $31.95 per person. Individual ticket prices are very high to get you to buy the POP. Oh, you need to buy an individual ticket just to watch the miniature golf! There isn’t that much for kids to do. I guess that’s why they push this place on Groupon, but you can’t use Groupon the same day! As others have suggested, do yourself a favor, go to Adventureland or elswhere. We went last summer and had a so-so time. Apparently, we didn’t learn our lesson and went again this weekend. I feel bad for the kids who work there, they are overworked. For example, early on the Sunday afternoon we went, there were two open windows to buy tickets, each with people on line, but only one kid inside to handle both lines! The kid had to go back-and-forth between windows. There was one kid working the water bumper car ride; last year there were two. Not the kid’s fault, but three water bumper cars weren’t working, and the water was a swampy Gatorade green; doubtful it’s clean. Of the about eight real attractions, half of them – the water bumper cars, fun house, maze and water balloon fight – are getting run down and showing their age. One exception is the miniature golf, which is nice. Last year it was hot the day we went and there were misters here and there to help cool you off. This year it was hotter, but no misters! Is management that cheap? At least they gave each kid manning an attraction a pitcher of ice water. How nice of them....

DO NOT go unless you have a good groupon. It is not worth the money. I was super excited about this place. And was VERY disappointed. Visually its average, some houses above average. However every house had only a few people jumping out to scare you. You cannot rely solely on props popping out of the wall. There was one house where we went through at least half of it before there was actually a person to come out. If you decide to only pay for one, definitely go into Bloodworth Manor. That was the only one that there were people every so often to scare you. Also bring CASH.. The bar is cash only!! Funhouse with the clowns is only good because of the 3-D. But again, I dont even think there was one person dressed up as a clown. The one house I forget which one is created over the mini golf. PAY ATTENTION because if you dont you will trip MULTIPLE times. This one was not thought out very well. A little unsafe if you ask me. This place is overall very sad for the price. Oh and I almost forgot, there was one house we went to go into but decided to turn around and go back because the workers were having a huge argument with a crowd of people. I really thought a full blown fist fight was about to happen. I am giving this place a 2 rather then one because of the visual aspects.

WHAT A DISGRACE!!! Due to their deceptive practices we were forced to cancel our son’s 3rd birthday party. We booked the party a year in advance. They would only communicate through email until two weeks before the party. When we booked the party we were told adults were free but now they were telling us that it was free for them to enter the park but not to walk with their 2 – 5 year old children through the fun house and on a miniature golf course at night. We had already invited 32 adults and having to pay for them almost tripled the cost of the party from $600 to $1700! They refused to do the honorable thing and work with us or take a dime off the price due to the misunderstanding. A misunderstanding that was caused by their failure to communicate via phone or clearly state the extra charges in the initial contract. To add insult to injury they added a 20% service charge for food that came to $130. They only offered to work with us four days before the party after they realized we might cancel. At that point it was too late as we had already been forced to book another party. I have never written a review about any company but I felt an obligation to warn people about this despicable company.

Myself, my child and a group of friends visited on July 3rd. What other reviewers are saying about this place and its deceptive practices is truly accurate. This place is a rip off and the manager and front desk workers are misleading. Do not believe the website, IT IS NOTHING LIKE IT. I drove from NJ thinking this place was much more than it really is. I brought my 2 year old there and asked if there was different pricing for children. they said no, so I paid the $31.75 to get in. Once in there, I realized there wasnt much for my 2 year old to do but ride the train which goes in circles around the small park. I asked for a refund and said I would pay the train ride as thats all a small child can do. The manager a slender, rude man asked to see my child and stated my child should ride the water bumper cars. He refused to refund me. This place is a waste of time and money and the people who run it have no clue. I wont be surprised if it goes out of business. JUST AWFUL. THEY ONLY ACCEPT AMERICAN EXPRESS AND CASH, HMMM I WONDER WHY THAT IS. The haunted ride awful. Nothing scary about it, no actors, nothing.
