The likes: My 8 yo daughter loved the water slides. The park was not crowded. The water was clean. The lifeguards were attentive. The fails: Splinters in your feet from mulch at a water park is a landscaping fail! Horrible concrete work with occasional super smooth surfaces (improper sweeping) which when wet are an EXTREME slipping hazard. Having a gutter and ledge does not make sense on a zero depth entry baby pool. The biggest fail of this park is due to the design and planning. With all the surrounding open space owned by the city, the only extra expense to add more internal lounging lawn space to the park is concrete on sidewalks, grass seed, irrigation, and fencing. All very minimal expenses. The lawns here are ridiculously graded into a steep mound and very small. The sidewalks flood from poor grading. There is actually steps and steep walkways in this water park. Completely unnecessary if it was designed and excavated properly. And again to mention. MULCH? Really?

BOO Broomfield and your poor management of a public facility. My daughter and 2 year old grandson visited the bay today. They tried to use the small pool designated for little kids. BUT the pool and slide was overrun by teenager. My grandson could not use the small slide because the teenagers were rough-housing on it. When he tried to go in the pool he was knocked over by one of the teenagers. My daughter looked to the lifeguard for help, but the lifeguard just kept sitting on his lazy ass watching the whole thing. Broomfield does not deserve to have any public facilities if they cannot manage them better than this!!!

Not bad for kids, kinda cheap. However its overrated, buy your own pad locks for lockers (and they were out including towels) very small and the deepest was 56 and was about 8x8 so not much space, expect an environment with lots of children and all things that come with them. The warm water, bugs and debris (dead bugs, bird feathers, dirt, leaves, candy wrappers etc) in the pool was what made us get out within 5 minutes. Not an ideal for a place for adults to relax but the kiddos liked it.

I absolutely love this place but I have two serious complaints. They need to power wash the grounds daily there are always sticky plops of ice cream or whatever which are not fun to step in. The CITY NEEDS to try and DO SOMETHING if possible about the biting flies!!! They are all over the Bay Im pretty sure they hatch in the surrounding grasses and ditch! THEY HURT and they are aggressive! They leave painful itchy bites that swell up days later! :(

This is an entertaining park for kids <12 its very large for a decent price through the slides are set of so it can be a bit difficult to use without some confusion on someones part, thus slowing down the line. Also, at times the credit card machines crash making in difficult to enter even if you are standing in line at 9:45 without waiting 15-20 minutes (after the park opens)

People do you know how to give 5 stars? I see below how much you absolutely loved the place, but only give 1 star! This place is fantastic!!! Great for all ages! You can pack an ice chest and bring your food and beverages or eat at the concession stand (very pricey). Lots of chairs and shade available. See you there! Ellen and Michaela in Westminster!

Honestly just an overall good place. Staff was nice and helpful, one Bryan Lucchesi jumped into a dumpster to help recover my wedding ring on a day where the trash was piled high like sandbags on the ramparts of a fort. What a guy. I watched him as he worked. Hes obviously very knowledgeable about this job and should be promoted to pool manager.

Great water park for families. Small enough it would be hard to loose track of your kiddos, and big enough to keep you entertained for several hours. Most of the people there were families with kids under the age of 12. Great place for family fun in the summer. And the right price as well. My family of 5 got in for $32.

Great park for younger children. Reasonably priced, lots of things for toddlers, kiddie pools and small slides. only complaint is that there are never any chairs and now you cant sit on the grass. So unless you get there at 9:45AM, you will be sitting on the concrete. Wish they would purchase a lot more chairs.

I have a daycare and what a friendly well layed out atomsphere. The lifeguards were very helpful. I think thr swim test is a fabulous idea and allowing shirts and life jackets. I musy also add it was so nice to go somewhere and have all the employees on the same page. Good job guys.....

Great for young kids. The inclement weather refund policy is a bit much. We paid admission and they closed the pool due to lightning while we still in the security/bag check line. They would not refund our admission only a handstamp for later in the day, citing the Citys policy.

Only $4 for adult residents! Cant beat that! They have various slides (for toddlers through adults). They have lockers, bathrooms, showers. Cleanliness is average, we usually just come in swimming suits and then go home, so we dont use the changing rooms.

For 7 dollars its the best investment for a hot summer day with the kiddos!! I been sliding down every single slide myself with them. Its just the right size to! You can lay back and let them roam and keep an eye out no problem

Fun for all ages. They have multiple places for young kids to play in the water safely. There are some bigger slides but also some small ones for younger kids. There is also a large open swim area. We had a lot of fun!

My family loves this place. Best pool experience for Broomfield residents in the summer. Paul Derda is great too, but Id recommend The Bay for the summer months. Save Paul Derdas indoor pool for the winter.

For the price, the bay is one of the most expansive water parks around. They have moderate level water slides, flume and tube slides, and a baby area. And theyve just been renovated and it looks really nice.

Great place for a kid. Snack bar is a bit spendy, but you can bring anything non-alcoholic in with you ... I saw people with coolers and some people with to-go bags from area restaurants. No lap lanes.

My family and I loved this little water park. It had enough variety and options to entertain the whole family that raged in ages from 2 years old to 62 years old. We all had a blast and it was super cheap!

I used to work here as a lifeguard a long time ago. Love the improvements and continuing project to renovate the facility. When the trees get bigger, it will be an excellent place to lounge outside.

The workers are rude! They kicked out my brorher in law and his son for playing in the water and splashing for no reason. And accused them of being drunk. It was a ridiculous lie!

Fun for little ones (under 5) and big kids too. It gets very crowded, but my kids really enjoy this outdoor pool. Plus it is very affordable.
