went to water rampage for the first time today and just let me say if you pay 19 dollars to get in there you are a fool that place is a death trap waiting to happen where do I start. the water slide railing is falling a part the steps up the water slide are broken there is one step if you miss it you will breake your leg. and the wood holding the staires togather are all rotten and falling a part. the lazy river I seen better at resourt hotels the lazy river as a bridge that is too low if you lift your head you can hurt your self. the water is dirty and the poor life guard has to stand there with a pool net and clean out the passing grabage that flots by and let me tell you folks there is a lot of crap from the bushes floating in there lazy river.one side of the lazy river is coverd in bird crap paints falling off it just horable to flot by a wall coverd in bird crap. there wave pool is a joke if you climb up the ladder to get out of the wave pool you get scoulded by the life guards. an you would think they would offer complmenty tubes for the wave pool or lazy river but nope had to go get my wallet and pay 3 dollars for a tube. the bath rooms stunk they where too small for a place like that. if the city safety inspector came to this place he or she would shut it down it is far to dangerous for litte kids I am suprised there has been moore accdents there. one last thing when walking in the park you better watch your feet the sidewalks are all busted up and in need of repair badly.

This place needs MAJOR UPKEEP! I am a very able bodied adult and pay attention to what Im doing and Im not accident prone. However I went with my family to have a fun day in the water. I went to get a drink and take it back to them and while walking on the walkway I just bit the dust all of a sudden. There is a major depression in the concrete that hasnt been tended to in a LONG TIME! So long it was growing algae. The algae was slick and just by walking across it ON THEIR PATHWAY I slipped and fell and almost broke my foot. Thankfully I am not a little old person that would have broken a hip doing it. My foot has several abrasions and is swollen twice the size it should be. I am not even worried about myself I am just terrified some older person, pregnant lady, or child will fall in that spot and get a broken hip, miscarriage, or head injury. Please dont pay the outrageous prices they charge and just go to the tech leisure pool, sun n fun, or any other swimming pool here in Lubbock. This place is a death trap and its not even fun with the lazy river being disgusting and not flowing, their two slides that are in desperate need of an upgrade or their "wave pool" that just cuts the bottom of your feet in two feet of water. AWFUL PLACE!

When our family first moved to Lubbock two years ago we bought summer passes to Water Rampage. Since there is no other water park this was better than nothing. However, the floor of the wave pool has been falling apart and the lazy river often has plant debri even though the lifeguards have skimmers. The kiddie side to the wave pool with the small wide slide always seems very slick (more than other parts) and I have seen many people go down each year. The website lists picnic tables are available on-site, but does not indicate that you can not bring your own food (that has been the case in 2015 and 2016), which has been misleading. Despite these flaws I have to say a summer pass is a great price so you can stop in and play all summer long for short periods. One of the thing I really appreciate about the park is that the lifeguard are always very attentive and do a great job of keeping people safe. They are even better than beach lifeguard I have seen. My kids like the water park and we love having fun in the water all summer long. We will keep going each year to enjoy the cool water and play in the waves. I just hope they keep improving each year.

I still dont know how the owner of this... mess... has the GALL to charge over $10 for a joke like this. Your wave pool slices peoples feet, its disgusting in the restrooms ALL THE TIME (clearly nobody ever cleans them), and you have THE shortest hours of all pools in town. I dont know what youre taking, but the drugs must be intense for you to feel justified about this "water park" or for you to even have the nerve to call it such. You have five attractions. FIVE. Youre open for six MEASLY hours. I can leave at close and STILL go swim somewhere else for three hours. What the Hell? If I could give no stars I would. For the price, you should be open from 10 in the morning to 10 at night. Even then you need new attractions, desperately. This place is an even bigger let down than Joyland, and that is saying something. I would rather drive four hours and avoid this place and go to a REAL water park for $15 that boasts over ten attractions. Or better yet... everyone save your money and find a friend who is a student at TTU, their leisure pool is what LWR SHOULD TRY TO BE and its ten bucks, and opens at like 8am. Youre welcome.

We decided to go here just because it was close but yet far enough to get away from our town, we also read reviews and thought well there are bad ones to everything lets just try out it! Just dont do it! I only wish we had just went to Big Springs water park which is only $5/person and has way more things to do and wouldve been the same distance to us. Even going to NRH20 wouldve been cheaper overall. The prices are outrages for a wave pool, little lazy river, 2 giant slides and a SMALL kid zone! And the kid zone isnt even watched or followed by the rules! My 4 year old kept getting trampled by 7,8,9 something year olds. There is clearly a sign that shows how tall you should be to play there. There were also much smaller kids getting ran over. I also didnt like paying $9 for combo meals and getting just a pre cooked and packaged burger with chips. But you pretty much have to eat there since leaving and renentering isnt allowed. The wave pool needs major repair to the floor. Also take water shoes, the cement is extremley hot.

First of all I went to Google site, said that the the hours were from 12-9, with a discount after 4pm. We decided to go about 5pm because my wife was coming back from out of town. We arrive at 5:10, and spent $46, after being there 30min they announced they close at 6pm. I went to the front office and td them about the times on the site, and she said that she had seen that and didnt know why. I told her that if I had known they were closing at 6pm I would not have spent $46 for 45min, all she could say was sorry should have looked at there website not Google.
