Edit: long stories short please be careful with what you buy here, and do your research and dont pay double for their non live products. I Was sold sick fish then was kicked out for calmly confronting the sales guy about it, cause it was in front of other customers. Lol Ive now spent over 400 dollars at this place, 150 just on some wood.... Anyway I was sold some sick platies that had minor ich. they seemed fine at the store. I couldnt tell whats wrong with the fish, all the platies would sit at the bottom and be ok every now and again. I came in immediately, next day, after noticing the fish acting weird, and he offered to take them back. I didnt want to give up a pet I just adopted?? So I didnt bring them back and i decided to quarantine them myself and treat them myself after being told by the guy "oh i get 700-800 platies in a batch obviously some will be bad" he also told me he quarantines fish for 30 days so theres no way theres sickness. After extensive research and a few days passing they developed more clear symptoms of ich and always had a couple white spots but were covered after a few days. Today I come in at 5:25 and he tells me I have 35 minutes till close, very rudely. Cause i stayed not 15 mins late this one time after spending 300$. I even apologized for the late stay and hes like "all good man no worries" - clearly this is a huge issue to him lol. So today I came up to him calmly and explained I have diagnosed the platies he sold me with ich. He says "well I havent had any other customers bit*h about ich". Its been less than a week since he got the arrival of the platies. It takes time for symptoms of ich to be very obvious. He tells me "i bet you didnt know that ich is a common disease" then tells me he quarantines for 10 days and calls me a liar when i said he said 30 days not 5 days ago. What a very nice way to do business. Sell some sick fish and kick the customer out for looking for help. I hope you all read this and understand you are being fooled into buying a quality fish, thinking.. hey its not petco right? I honestly think petco takes better care of their fish. Ill always refer people to stay away from here. Thanks for reading and good luck with your fish needs!

These guys are cool as hell. Very helpful, very knowledgeable and worked to save me some money on my first saltwater setup. This is also the cleanest fish store in town. I was there when this guy that gave a review about ick and trust me the guy giving the review made himself out to be a saint, he was not. In with my experience in fresh water I can tell you odds are he gave his fish ick. The guy was a total tool, and I wouldnt have been as nice about it as the owner was. In regards to the not child friendly I call bull... I take my 2 year old there all the time. Control your children people! No Im not a friend of the owner or any of the employees. I just got on here to leave a great review because of the very positive experience Ive had with these guys over the last few weeks and saw the unnecessary negative reviews and had to call bull. These guys have earned my business which isnt that easy to begin with. They spent more than three hours with me over 3 visits before I spent a dime with them, just feeding me information and giving me honest opinions on how to be successful on my new journey into the saltwater world. Thanks guys, you have my business!

Great service and rock and driftwood selection. I love their scaping table so you can check out how rocks and driftwood might come together in your tank. Their fish selection was pretty small on the Sunday that I went in, unfortunately. But based on the writing on the tanks, they might have just been waiting for new stock. They also had Orange Rili and Blue Velvet shrimp advertised, which is great for shrimp fans. The Blue Velvet shrimp are priced a little more expensive at $10 each (versus $8 at another local store). This may be due to better color quality, but I cannot comment on that since there were none at the time. One concern I had was the recommendation of 6 Zebra Danios for a 5 gallon portrait tank. That bioload is way too high and there is barely any room for just 3 of them to swim around in a 5 gallon portrait tank.

This place is very clean. Cleanest Ive ever seen! Smells fresh, heavenly. It has the wow factor as soon as you walk through the door & thats saying something when it comes to me! The gentleman all greeted me & said if I had any questions just let them know. They didnt pester me, which make my shopping experience a much more enjoyable experience & as soon as I had a question I felt comfortable asking. The fish look very happy, healthy & clean. There was no dead fish in any of the tanks, which tells me they have a good source. They didnt have what I was looking for but they are able to ordered some for me. Awesome or what?! The fellow, I guess he must be the owner. Was very knowledgeable. Im very happy & so are my fish! Thank you. Think this will be my go to store from now on. xXx

I have to say that this store has a great selection of Seachem products and they stock a lot of fish you dont see in many other stores but their hours are more of a loose guideline. Their door and website say 10am to 6pm but I have gone twice in the morning at 10:30 and the doors were not open and today I tried to make it before they closed, at about 5:45, and the doors were already locked. I had an emergency in one of my tanks and needed to pick up Seachem Stressguard, being one of the only stores in the area to carry it I was very dissapointed to find the doors closed early. Its frustrating that the only reason I didnt get the medicine my fish needed is because the management didnt feel the need to fulfill their posted hours.

The store is clean and the tanks are minimalistic zen kept healthy by powerful, biological sponge filters. The store seems to specialize a bit in rare and unusual feeshwater cichlids and predatory fisb, but has a little bit of everything you would expect to find. A hobbyist at any level could walk in here and see something they just couldnt live without. The aquascape table is another impressive feature. Large, imposing pieces of driftwood are set on display for you to rearrange and create your perfect scape on the sand filled table. With tubs of unique rock features set down below. A pleasureable experience, I will return again and again for sure.

This place should just shut down already! I dont have a choice to give less than 1 star. All the reviews below are the same. This owner and staff are rude and the prices are overpriced. They only feed their fish minor quantities b/c he does not want to over load his system. Stupid! You should have built better filtrations to keep the fish healthy! I pop my head in ever 6 weeks or so, never buying anything but seeing if he actually reads these reviews and changes. After writing this and seeing Im not the only one that has the same opinion, Ill drive over an hour to get better service, healthier selection and price!
