My girlfriend is 20 and Im 21 and we went to the Belly Up for an electronic/dub-step concert. I was buying drinks for myself and she was not drinking at all. Halfway through the concert, the bouncers walked up to her, grabbed her, and decided to throw her out. They were "watching her closely" all night and said she was underage drinking. She hadnt touched alcohol. We had to convince a different bouncer that she didnt do anything wrong.They were aggressive and over-the-top. Im embarrassed by how they acted. We left early b/c they ended up ruining the night for us. Ive been to the Belly Up numerous times and still love the venue. Just watch out for the douchy bouncers

Great concert and performance venue. Outstanding layout that lets you either sit back and enjoy the show from away or get up close and personal in front of the stage. Lots of great performers, big and small, coming through all the time and a lot of events in between makes this a locals and tourist fan favorite. Theres always people in, and most of the time its busy enough to have a great atmosphere. The place is quite small so it can get crowded, especially for more popular acts. Drinks are alright, but just enough. The drinks are alright, though maybe a bit on the pricey side.

Best spot in the valley to see live music. Extremely intimate shows with big name artists means there is no bad spot in the venue. Dancefloor up front, vip in the middle, and space in the back to get drinks at 2 sepatare bars. They usually give out earplugs at the box office. Usually sells out for holiday shows and huge name artists. They also show NFL games on a big screen and offer a limited food menu. I have seen many amazing shows here over the dozen years I have been in the valley.

I love the Belly Up! I am never disappointed! I like to stand right up front during the entire concert. I love being up close to the musicians I admire so much. The last time we were there, we saw Gregg Allman. Ive seen Big Head Todd and Neil Young at the Belly Up. This Saturday, we are seeing Warren Haynes. I go to the Belly Up for the music and the intimate venue.

I went the belly up last April for the first time. I absolutely loved it. I saw Empire of the Sun. I took my 18 yr granddaughter it was truly a magical experience. I cant wait to go back. im already planning another trip . the only reason I went to Aspen was to see that group . I hope Bellyup brings them back soon.

The Owner for one is why the 1 star rating. The food is over priced, not that good, with most of the ingredients coming from a can. They do have a lot of concerts at this with some good bands. However the sound quality is this tight space is sub-par.

I love Belly Up! I got to go here during the X Games and had a ton of fun. It was packed with people for a private party and the atmosphere was awesome. I had a total blast and definitely recommend it to anyone visiting this beautiful little city :)

Expensive, but worth it. This small venue gets big acts, which is why ticket prices are so high. The environment and intimacy of the venue is incredible. If you ever see a favorite band play here, I highly recommend paying the ticket price.

Went to see stephan marley instead get stuck seeing this drunk guy who kept touching me in a uncomfortable way and obviously blocking the performance paid to see. I tell him leave me alone didnt work tell security they do nothing.

One of the finest venues Ive stepped foot in. Staff really give the impression they genuinely are there to facilitate your having a good time. Sound is impeccable. LED screens are a very nice touch as well.

prices on beer are overpriced. I guess this is aspen so that shouldnt shock you. tickets during season are also pretty unreasonable. having said that, the acts they get are top notch. small intimate venue.
