A Private User

Irving Schwartz Library was the library my son and I visited while I was station on Ft. Bliss. It falls in the public library category. Anyone that lived in the nearby area can sign up for a library card and start enjoying all the services this wonderful library has to offer. Although this library does not specialize in one area of information, it has a large selection of books and other materials. There is a huge section of the library that caterer to young children to young adults. To help bring in more young people the library often shows movies that is free to the public, they even provide the popcorn. However, this library is not all play and no works. The library has computers and a great staff to help you navigate with easy though the sea of books, DVD/ CDs, VHS, magazines, journals, newspapers, and articles contain within its walls. If I was to move to back to El Paso, this library would be on the top of my short list to visit with my son and friends. I highly recommend this library because, a person can benefit from the information it has to offer. Whether you are starting to read or researching works and articles to attain a degree, you can find it here.

Nice well maintained library. I used to come to use the computers with a guest pass but I found myself coming often so I recently decided to get a library card. The process was really easy and the staff is always very helpful. Now with the library card I can go to any library in the city of El Paso and check out anything. Love this library I never thought Id be someone who owns a library card. Im excited to start reading more mangas on a regular basis. Going to check out my first manga tomorrow.

Very rude and unhelpful staff. My 8 year old son asked for help on graphic novels and they directed him to adult graphic novels. When I asked for further help they said it was his fault for not asking for the "juvenile " section. Then we finally get to the right section and cant find the book. Books were not in alpha order by author. Such a bad experience.

I have been going to this library for around three months and every time i go the staff is always very friendly and helpful; they actually have the wish to help you, not just because its part of their job. I highly recommend this library, I was very satisfied with their service.
