A totally unique setting in which to hear music throughout the Aspen Music Festival. Sometimes a thunderstorm "interferes" but it was always just more magical for us when it did - esp closing say when it showered on and off during Beethovens 9th. I think the tent could do with a little light amplification but its great nonetheless and on a good night sitting on the lawn with all the locals is even better.

Such a great venue until the rare July rain storm decided to join the concert during the slow movement of the violin concerto (kudos to performers for continuing in great style). Rain continued after concert, with no bus shelter to wait under and very infrequent buses. Dont be tempted to take public transport. Just drive. Recap: GREAT venue and concert, rain was inconvenient.

The Benedict Music Tent is an excellent outdoor music facility. I would recommend anyone that wants to see live orchestra music check it out. Even if you dont get tickets whenever there is a performance people will sit all around it and listen, so bring you lawn chairs a blanket and some food, and you will have an exceptional evening.

The Benedict Music Tent/Harris Concert Hall are the One, Two PUNCH for the Aspen Music Festival and School. The two best Concert venues in Western Colorado. Summer afternoon concerts at the tent and Evening concerts at Harris Hall. WOW !!!
