On the smaller side for Southern California poker rooms but the staff go out their way to ensure you are happy. The food is no Hawaiian Gardens(best SoCal casino food) but the action is great. I play the 3-5 blind no limit. Buy in is $300-$1000. Small enough so it wont get you in trouble but big enough to get the juices flowing on large pots Ive been there 8 times and have been fortunate to have won all 8 times. Very easy to spot the nits and very easy to spot the fish. I consistently had action at my table on 7 of the 8 visits. A mix of older retirees who are playing for therapeutic purposes and arent worried about the result with a few young aspiring pros who play tight and arent in too many pots. I expect myself to go back shortly. I have been itching for a quick flutter.

If it werent for the people, this might be a good place. I dont gamble, so, Im usually there when friends go. Or, visiting the Patio Restaurant attached to it (which has some great Vietnamese food). But, the clientele of the casino itself leave much to be desired. Youre definitely not going to feel like youre in Vegas - youll feel as if youve been brought so some hole in the wall joint. The people attending and leaving, most of time, appear to not obey traffic laws, cutting in front of others to get to the casino, or, leaving and causing cars to slam on their brakes to avoid hitting them. The theme appear to be sports related - just some jerseys on hangars nailed to the wall.

This casino used to be a small neighborhood card club on Ventura avenue, and has retained the charming, small-town feel. The dealers are friendly, often calling players by name. The atmosphere at the tables is pleasant and social. Many of the players are there to have fun and mess around, so you often get your money in against surprising starting hands. The place is pretty busy, so I never have to wait long to be seated. They offer a wide range of no limit texas holdem poker, and a few exotic varieties. There are also table games in the back. I always feel welcomed and treated with respect.

Im not rating the casino as Ive only walked through it. The bar and grill were excellent when they first opened years ago. Took a large group of family there the day after a Thanksgiving reunion at our home and everyone loved it. Ive been there 3-4 times since and gave up. Food has gone from from great to mediocre at best and the service goes to the gamblers I guess. Explore at your own risk.

Ever since the Management team changed I felt a lot of things went down hill .The prices of food have nearly doubled.They have talked about players club cards ( to earn points towards food etc)for over a year now .I guess there lucky with no local competition there they dont have any incentive to take care of the customers

Not a gambler but the food in the restaurant is good, mostly all card games an on holidays and special events they have prize and raffles, and the staff here treat customers like family especially if you are a regular. Just dont get caught doing anything bad, security is on it.

This is by far the best poker casino in Southern California. Friendly staff. Awesome dealers... Great Action.. This is my new favorite casino.. The food is outstanding.. I highly recommend stopping by if u are ever in the area.. Good Luck

This place is awesome, the dealers are nice, the staff are friendly, theres plenty of light not like chumash, the tables are always full and they have plenty of tables. Ive been playing here for years now and it never disappoints.

Casino is dirty and the security guard will punk you and make you get out. This is a low key casino for local players to make money off the guests. If youre not cool with the main floor then youre gonna get hustled by the casino

The place has gone down hill in the last year. The rakes went up the tournament blinds are to quick to play well... many good people left. I live 1 mile away and will start to go back to the Chumash or LA to play on the future.

Players drive from hours of way because its so well run, Texas Holdem, Hi- Lo Oneonta and a couple table games. Good action and comped good from a very nice Patio Restaurant on site.
