The theater itself is good. Just dont you bother paying the extra for the "XD" service unless you dont want to amuse yourself with the astonishing incompetence and rudeness of the staff. Paying extra (a lot, extra) you get to sit in the more exclusive area, which includes food which will be delivered to your seat before the movie begins. In theory. Me and my girlfriend went there to see the hateful 8 in a late evening show in the middle of January. We both ordered two veggie burgers, the lady at the counter told us to go to our seats and they would have brought the food. She took the number of our seat from the number written on the ticket. A bit later, a waitress came in to deliver the food with two veggie burgers. She went a bit around, couldnt find anybody to deliver the food to, and left the theater Area. I chased her outside, and told her that I believed the two burgers to be for me and my girlfriend. She asked my seat number and told me to go back inside, everything seemed fine. She then came to bring the food and with an extremely arrogant and annoyed voice she told us "you are in the wrong seats", and left very annoyed. I didnt say anything, at first I thought we did actually sit in the wrong place but nope, triple checked our tickets and we were in the correct one. With that said, even if I was in the wrong seat, she could have communicated that in a nicer tone. On top of all of this, the food was mediocre at best, I wasnt expecting a gourmet food, but not even something semi disgusting, and they didnt bother to say sorry as we left the theater. All in all, I wont be coming back here.

First off let me say, the say service is very good at this venue, so there are no complaints about the staff. But as for the theater itself in terms of their policies and what they offer, well… Unlike the AMC Dine In, you have to pay extra to sit in an upper (“Reserve Level”) if you want a reclining chair and a swivel tray for your food or drink. They do not take orders during the movie, and they do allow kids, despite allowing alcoholic beverages in the cinema. The other night we ordered food from the bar and they gave us these “to go” boxes to take inside the theater with us. We were on the main level and quickly discovered to our dismay, there were no swivel trays. We had to eat from our lap. And the food wasn’t very good. The chairs are not recliners like the ones in the upper level and the AMC Dine In. They feel kind of cramped and not very comfortable. To make our evening even more pleasant, these kids were sitting behind us constantly kicking our seats throughout the movie, and sneezing all over us. Parking is also an issue. While they have a multi-level parking lot, be prepared to follow a slow parade of cars coming and going. At the AMC Dine-In we just park across the street. No fuss, no muss, Easy access in and out. Needless to say, we won’t be going back to this venue.

This is too all customers who have been to this movie theater: Im a new 2 month hard and dedicated staff member at Cinemark Playa visita in Marina Del Rey (Tyrone). I want to thank all those who committed so truthfully and respectful. I and the rest of my team will continue serving our guest with the best service possible. I have to say I really enjoy working here, the staff is great and cool. Im actually a food runner and sometimes I actually run to the theaterd to deliver you guys food. Thats how much I care about you guys. Im actually the only food runner there who actually go over and beyond for my customers and sweat too lol. Thats how you know Im doing my best. The customers, oh boy you guys rock. The reserve seating, yes they are the bomb. I watched a few movies and ordered therea few times and it was totally worth it. This theater is my number 1 go to place to watch movies. Thanks Cinemark. I still havent saw any famous people yet. But Im hoping I will soon. Again I just want to thank the customers and the staff members who makes this theater the best in the world lol you guys are so blessed. Ill see you guys at work tomorrow. Positive thoughts!!!

Terrible customer service, I took my family to see the movie Logan, and we purchased snacks from the concession area before the movie. On the way out I topped off my coke and an employee walked up to my family and I and told me that there are no free refills and that I would have to go back and pay for it. At first I thought he was kidding, but when I clarified the point, he responded " Do I sound like I am kidding"? There are no signs anywhere that I could see indicating this rule and it was very embarrassing for all of us. I could understand if I had left the building and came back at a later time, but we had just finished watching the movie and were walking out. If food cost is such a huge concern for you then you should not have a soft drink beverage bar on the front line or you should post a sign that states the no free refill policy on the unit. I know for a fact it costs you a lot more to pay an employee to enforce this policy then to lose a couple of cents for a ½ cup of coke. For such an upscale theater that prides itself on customer service tonight you failed. You got your coke back, but you lost a customer, his family and his friends.

Pretty good theater. Comfortable seats, clean, not too crowded, and good selection of movies. They have VIP which is a waste of money imo, youre in the same theater only on the balcony seats, the front row of which are blocked by glass. I cant imagine eating a full meal in your seat (another VIP thing) or waiters coming in and blocking your view during the movie being enjoyable, Id much rather just eat somewhere in the plaza after or before, as theres plenty of good options. Also, all tickets are a bit more pricey on the weekend and for opening films. The good news is that every theater has reserved seating so you can pre-purchase and not have to rush to get there. Parking used to be free when it first opened but now its $1 for the first hour, $1 for each subsequent 15mins, $15 daily max. The theater and/or shops might validate but Im not sure since I usually bike there. The first level of the garage is almost always jam packed because of the whole foods, just head to the upper levels.

As a brand new theater, this is probably the best movie theater on the Westside. Because its only a few months old, it really should be. The seats are clean and well spaced out. The concessions areas are clean, well-kept, with a good variety. And they have some nice options, like Reserve, which gives you reclining leather seats in the back of the theater and the option of having Chilis-level food delivered to your seat during the movie. The dine-in experience isnt as good as the AMC in Marina Del Rey, but it still makes for a memorable and really nice movie experience. I really like that there is a lot of security and other workers throughout the theater. It seems like theyre doing a lot to try and keep the place clean, safe, and nice for their guests. The seats are all very comfortable and you dont have to deal with the teenage silliness that you see at Century City or Howard Hughes. If you live in Fox Hills, this should be your go-to movie theater.
