Cheap Tickets...Cheap Service Not worth the 4$ you save compared to newer theaters like Arclight. Went to see Suicide Squad on a Monday night, got there about an hour early with plenty of time to get seated. Ended up sitting right in the middle of the theater in one of the "Dbox" seats. Heres where the 1 star review comes in. After being about 15 minutes into the actual movie, an usher comes in and clears the entire row of about 8 seats we were sitting in (along with 6 other patrons) and informs us all that these seats are reserved for the group she was bringing in...which of course means we would all have had to scatter to the remaining seats in the worst viewing parts of the theater, and no one would be able to sit together. Had I known or been informed that the seats we initially picked were reserved, we would have had plenty of time before to pick better seats that we would not have had to vacate after the movie had already started. We then left the theater to go ask for a refund, which was promptly granted after explaining the situation to a manager, who didnt seem to particularly care that no one had informed any of his guests that certain seats were reserved. He apologized halfheartedly, but it was clearly more to get us to leave quickly and quietly than out of any real sincere regret that we had a poor experience. Having worked both Retail and Hospitality, this is usually the sign of a manager that has long since checked out of caring about his facility (you should always address guest concerns with empathy and understanding, let them know that such issues will be taken care of in the future, invite them back for a better second visit, and rather than simply offering their money back you should always give the option of offering tickets for another showing, etc.) I know how hard and thankless and soul crushing hospitality can be, but they pay me to show up and be present and be helpful and it is not too much to ask for that same attitude out of the people who are helping me when its my turn to be the guest. Other small issues would be quality of their beer (cool that they serve it but my Cali Creamin tasted old and flat) and several staff members having inappropriate conversations for an extended period in clear earshot of their guests. Better to spend your money and night out at the theaters in Mission/Fashion and at least have food and drinks nearby, or drop some money and just go to the Lot or Cineopolis.

This little theater is a hidden gem. It is not the newest, but is certainly clean and the attendants are friendly. I have gone to this theater a few times and every time they have been consistently friendly, clean, and not overcrowded. The moviegoers are there to watch the movie, which means they are quiet and respectful while the film is playing. The popcorn is fresh and buttery, and they also offer kettle corn, which tastes more like caramel corn. Yumm. I found out that they are in the process of renovating and installing new seats. This is a great movie theater for date night. This theater offers something special for new parents. There are special movie times where you can take your baby. Like, it is actually OK. The sound is lowered and no one will be bothered if your baby makes a little noise. Hurray for this place. I applaud this concept, and hope that all new parents go to these special screenings. Hint, hint.

Way better theater that the big chains! Seats are more comfy, friendlier knowledgeable staff, cheaper tickets, easy pricing, way better popcorn especially since its not waaaaaaaay too salty like amc and regal, better popcorn because they put the butter on for you, I hate trying to figure out how to put the right amount on, and it tastes way better too, good selection of beers and not ridiculous beer pricing either!! Oh and I forgot to mention this one final thing: THEY GET IT RIGHT!! That is, the sound is always good, the temperature is always right, the picture is always good, etc. youd be surprised how many times Ive been at one of the other big theaters from one of the big national chains and one of those is off and it pisses me off! Hot in the theater, too quiet, blurry image, etc!!!!

I admit the theater is pretty good. HOWEVER, I got robbed of my cell phone on Oct 1 2016 (Saturday) around 2:30 PM right in this mall. I was sitting on the bench using my cell phone in front of Lakeshore. One African American guy snatched my cell phone from my hand and ran away. I cannot believe how this is happening in the day time on weekend in the mall. I met zero security on this property even if I was with Police officer for about an hour after the incident (Some witnessed people reported 911 immediately). I have serious concerns on the security of this property. Do not visit this mall especially with kids!! Their property representative also confirmed that they are not responsible for this kind of crime (I contacted them later) and asked me to check my own insurance!

It was my favorite place to see a movie anytime, but since the renovations, the price of tickets went from 5/7/9 to 7/9/11 bux each.and they didnt renovate the theater, just added a bar for drinks 2 by 5a The Carmel corn downsized a full size and doubled in price, so it now cost &16.00 a large bag without a refill, It used to be very personable and now its all about catteling you in, and the smiles have faded over the past 3 weekends and we both feel as though they are really ripping us off! If being cheated doesnt bother you as a faithful hardcore, avid customer, then the Ultrastar Mission Valley is the place to go, otherwise AMC has 10X the movies and they have a bigger Bar for your favorite alcohol drink or craft beer and its the same price to get in, Now!

What puts you off going to the movies? Is it the seemingly exuberant prices? Or perhaps its the fear of going to a run down theatre? Well Im glad to report that this movie theater dispels all of your fears. First the ticket prices are cheap. If you go to a movies first function on a Tuesday then you only have to pay $6, any other showing on a Tuesday is $8. The seats inside the theatre are leather lazy boys (non-reclinable) that are very spacious and comfortable. So now whenever you see a movie trailer that makes you giddy with excitement, rest assured that you have a movie theater that offers you a place to watch that movie comfortably without breaking the bank.

I love it here. It feels like old time theaters with modern amenities. They are upgrading their seats soon. You can find caramel corn here, with a free refill. The bathrooms are clean, and so are their theaters. If youre a new parent, check out their baby night when you can take your baby to the movie, comfortably. They lower the volume, so no need to worry about your tiny babys ears. No need to stash your outside food in your pockets, under your coat, in your wifes bra. You are ALLOWED to take in your cafe mocha you just ordered from upstairs. Chicken and rice leftovers? Take them to the movies here. Thats a winner, for sure. Tapatío on tap, nuff said.
