The parking attendant BILLY D took his job a little too seriously or Sea World has implemented some of TRUMPs anti immigration rethoric as you enter the parking lot.....yes the parking lot!!! " sir do you have ID? " I gave him my daughters season pass and passport because I didnt have mine...turns out I have my daughters and my daughter had mine. We came in two vehicles and she was in the other vehicle. When I handed my daughters season pass and passport he looked inside the vehicle as if he was some sort of immigration inspector.....after scanning the inside of the vehicle and pretending to compare everyones face to the picture of the passport in hand he let us through finally. My family in the second vehicle realized they had my season pass and handed it to Billy D....since I was not in the vehicle he confiscated the season pass and charged them a parking fee. I waited for my family to pull behind me and I pulled away to park. Once we parked I was given the news that I had to go back to the attendant to retrieve my season pass but I must show ID. I walk across the parking lot with my baby in a stroller only to be turned back by Billy D requesting both my daughter and I be present in order to return my ID......I walked back to the parked cars and brought my daughters with me......now he is no longer in possession of my season pass and I must now walk to the managers office. The supervisor by the name Amanda played along with this charade and asked for my ID in order to return my season pass. Ive been a season pass holder for 10 years.....never had we experienced such humiliating treatment by Sea World staff on the contrary Sea World staff usually goes above and beyond to make guests experience a memorable one. After discussing the incident with my family in the other vehicle turns out Billy Boy did the same exact thing to them when he was looking at my daughters passport looked inside the vehicle and glanced at everyones face without purpose. He yelled and scolded at my family in the second vehicle because they intended to use my season pass to cover the parking fee. My daughter explained to Billy D to compare last names because theyre the same but instead decided to keep my season pass and this whole ordeal once it was all said and done it was now 11:30 am an hour after we had entered Sea World parking. Thank goodness for Denise at guest services, she refunded the parking fee and gave us passes to get us preferred seating in one of four select shows. She tried to turn a bad experience into something we should forget to enjoy our stay at Sea World and her efforts are appreciated.

So not the best experience on the day of our visit and here is why first the VIP Parking was full and I had bought VIP parking online and they had no space reserved for me and to top that off the VIP parking cost less at the location than online $5.00 less so dont buy it online and so we had to park right next to the yellow rap in the front of the entrance bad spot... Next the photo key is completely worthless please dont spend $80.00 on that thing it took the customer service people about 15 minutes to sort out my photo key since I had bought it online and to be honest I only used it for two rides and that was it! Not a good value at all, lastly the worst part was our "premier fastpass" didnt really do much for our wait time its like the staff are not trained on how to use it, yet again they were confused about how we got our fast fastpasses online not to mention that on the fast pass it says you will get front row seats for all the shows NOT the case if the show is full then it sucks to suck you sit in the back even though you payed much more than a lot of people there and hardly any attraction or ride has a CLEAR line or section for fast pass it caused a lot of confusion among the misinformed staff and us oh and the passes are just a piece of paper not like a wrist band or anything along those lines so make sure to keep them dry which is difficult since youre at SEAWORLD where getting wet is inevitable so that makes no sense to carry a dry piece of paper around and I had to buy 3 each one will cost you $40.00 you can skip that you wont need it at all. The food here is terrible mediocre at best and the lines are huge!! So just eat before you get here or eat elsewhere when you leave because its expensive and mediocre at best not the business at all I was very disappointed with my visit here plus I spent about $600 there and to get this kind of service in return? Not coming back anytime soon I have visited legoland as well and man that experience was a heck of a lot better than Seaworld I Would just skip seaworld and go to legoland plus I spent a little over $100 less there. The only reason I dont give seaworld a 1 star is because my nephew seemed to have enjoyed himself there, its not a horrific theme park by any means but DEFINITELY room for improvement and more than a few coaching opportunities more several staff members. That is all my friends happy travels and I got a few pictures below check them out.

Have NONE of you sat down and watched Blackfish?? If you did, youd never patronize another Seaworld again... Let me be clear here.. Im from San Diego and lived here my whole life. I have always enjoyed Seaworld as a child and as an adult. I do believe that Seaworld of San Diego treats the animals the best they possibly can given the circumstance. But thats the problem.. The entire business of animals on parade and in captivity is wrong . Watching BLackfish was eye opening and Ill never patronize any attraction where there are animals in captivity ever again.. To do so is the same as saying you support what these poor animals endure.. and that doesnt mean animal abuse by trainers and such..Im quite sure the trainers at this particular park are all very skilled and love the animals and treat them well. But common sense should tell you that nothing good can come from ripping a baby orca oaway from its mother and family and forcing into an unnatural habitat where they are understimulated and lack adequate space . An animal that on average travels about a 100 miles a day.. do you think that a tank for them to mill about in, is anything of comparison?? I could never summarize nor would I want to, what this movie brings to light. But every single one of you should watch it.. I gurantee you cannot watch it without having your mind changed about everything you thought about this industry .. Its heart breaking and gut wrenching.. so all of you who said " dont read into the negative hype on the Internet", clearly have not see the movie. And I must stress again... I am Not condemning the park Itself ... At face value , Seaworld San Diego is a beautiful, clean, well run facility with excellent trainers and enticing attractions... but take a moment to look below the surface .. and realize that not all is as it seems.. Its an entire industry that needs to have an end put to it.. its nothing against SW SD personally... not for me at least.. in fact ,of all the parks., I do believe them to be one of the best.. But they are one of the best of An industry that needs to be abolished .. animals are not here for us to be amused by and gawk at in a big fishbowl .. think about it..
