Cool industrial style interior where you can have some wine while watching how its made. When we got in we were invited to see the grape maceration, which was quite interesting. We had about an hour until our restaurant reservation so why not taste some wines. Tried 3 whites and 3 reds, out of which my favorite was the Sangiovese (or mostly Sangiovese) red. One of the whites had a bitter note and another was a bit too sweet, but we had fun which is the whole point.

Nice vibe, great wines and cool space. Has food to eat along with some pretty interesting wines. I didnt know San Diego could have a winery but apparently they source grapes from the areas I like to drink wine (Sonoma, Paso Robles) so I was impressed by what they were doing. Large space too, good companion to the breweries in North Park.

Great wine, very cool ambience. They use wooden slat boxes as "lamp shades" over the hanging lights which is simple and very cool. Staff was very friendly. Tapenade and goat cheese was yummy! I especially liked the two dogs trying to sneak behind the counter whenever food came out, but technically they had nothing to do the place ;-)

Soft opening review... Chill, minimalist wine spot good for a meetup with friends before dinner and a night out. I joined the club and got 4 free tastings for the cost of the bottle I wanted to buy anyway. Its a working winery, and the ambiance is utilitarian and somewhat hip industrial.
