At 1:30on Saturday I came in for lunch. I was told that because there were two (five or six person) orders ahead of mine, my sliders and salad might take twenty minutes or more. The waiter asked if that was ok or if I wanted to cancel my order. Well, I was seated and just started sipping a glass of one of their fruit potations, so I told him lets leave it and well hope for the best. Just about twenty minutes later my house salad and chicken parm sliders arrived. Decent food. Nothing to write home about. The wait wasnt crazy, though it showed that there is probably only one or two people in the kitchen and they cant handle even one quarter of their tables being full at one time. I enjoyed my salad and when finished ordered a cup of coffee. The waiter informed me that it only came in a French press, and was that ok. Since there was no choice, I said it was fine. They are working the upselling and kitchen efficiency, I see. So my weak coffee arrived, the large chunks of coffee already pressed down leaving a yellowy brown liquid. Ithanked the waiter and raised the plunger... it has to brew for Petes sake. The waiter asked if I would like cream or sugar, I said half and half. He came back with a tiny pitcher half full of heavy cream, saying its all they had, and was that alright. I said, again, as there was no choice, it would do. No spoon. The place is cute, sterilely clean, but they arent prepared. I just now poured the finally-brewed coffee into my cup and added the cream... it immediately curdled. Holy cow. While its nice to have a well-lit, clean, cheery place in Hillcrest with fresh rather than bar vibes, I will wait a bit before Ill be back and hope they refine their flow.

What a great way to drink alcohol! I love the fruit spin. In SD we have so many craft beers and this is a new way. So cool. I got some wine tasters and my favorite was the pineapple white wine. I also got the sangria and tried their fruit hard alcohol. Its so cool how you can make super hard alcohol with any fruit. Used to only grapes as wine... try some of theirs. Their mix drinks are amazingly good. Would come back and try some more!

Went here during their soft opening. They had specials on the sangrias which were delicious. The bartenders were awesome too, very friendly and passionate about what they were doing

One of the owners, Alan, shipped for me a couple bottles to a relative. Very reasonable prices. Occasionally they sell at the Hillcrest farmers market.
