Awful Venue! I read the reviews here before I went and thought...it couldnt really be that bad but it was! I went to see Duran Duran and got a ticket in the balcony. It listed a seat number but it was actually GA seating so it was first come first serve. By the time I got in and went up there were no seats left. This either means they oversold the balcony OR people from the floor went up and took seats in the balcony. Either way, I didnt have a seat. They check tickets to go on the floor so if you dont have a floor ticket, youre not allowed through that door. They dont check tix to the balcony so anyone can walk up there. Once all the seats were full, several of us sat there asking what we were supposed to do. The security guard said he didnt see any reason why I couldnt go stand on the floor but the lady checking tickets wasnt so charitable. I walked back up to the balcony and continued to wait with the others against the stairs going down to the lower level of the balcony and then the show started. The lights went down and at least 20 of us that I could see had no seats. They told us we couldnt stand there because it was a fire hazard. The supervisor finally decided to give us wristbands to go downstairs so away we all went. Im 5 4" and couldnt see one thing on the stage. Obviously showing up after the show starts for a GA show is ridiculous. I walked around trying to see anything and then went back upstairs. I told the people up there that were giving out the wristbands that I couldnt see anything. The very understanding supervisor (NOT) said if I couldnt find a seat up there I had to go downstairs. First they wont allow you on the floor (when maybe I could have actually found a spot) now they wont let me stay up where I paid for a seat!! It was a miserable show stuck behind heads, arms and cellphones. I should have left. I will never go back to this venue. I dont care who is playing!

I went to the fox theater to watch some MMA fights. I pay for standard admission which are seats up stairs on the balcony. Im fine with this. What Im not fine with is that you couldnt see the bottom half of the cage from the seats. Yes they had a projector and screen set up. But I didnt pay good money to watch an event on a projector. The thing that was even worse was they had a VIP area on the far end of the stage. Had they moved the cage where the VIP area was, it would have been visible from everywhere. So I went to the side of a walkway (not obstructing anyones view) WITH permission from a security guard. This was the only area from the balcony that you could see the whole cage. Within 15 minutes another security guard with a major attitude yells at us to move or well be kicked out. He said it was a "fire hazard to have anyone standing there... yet there was a filmer with the venue standing right next to me. We went back to our seats (to miss seeing anything that happened on the lower side of the stage). Within 5 minutes about 15 fireman come and stand EXACTLY where we were. Apparently its not a fire hazard if youre a fireman. So I said some choice words to above mentioned security guards on my way down to the bar. Next thing I know a fireman followed me down three sets of stairs and started yelling at me in front of the whole venue. I told him I didnt have a problem with him and everything was fine. Next thing I know theres 10 security guards grabbing me and forcing me outside. Yep. I got kicked out because a fireman followed me and STARTED an argument that I didnt even engage in. I am in the process of filing a formal complaint against the fire department as well as writing a letter to management. One of the worst experiences in my life.

If I could give this venue zero stars I would. Great Show! Horrible venue! I NEVER do negative reviews, but I have tried calling your office to make a formal complaint and no one ever answers... I will continue to research and find out who the top supervisor is, and make a formal complaint. The incompetence of your security is inexcusable! This was the single most disorganized and uncommunicative venue I have ever been to. There was no communication or signage to distinguish reserved balcony seating and GA Balcony. The security "goons" did not check tickets until after the main act started (after the opening act was finished). Just a bit of communication or 10 cent copies with the word "Reserved" on the back of the reserved seats would have saved a lot of headache and anxiety. My husband and I had never been to the venue and flew from Portland to see a show. We got there 3 hours early and were 5th in line and by the time we were told that we were sitting in reserved seats and we had to get up, all the other seats were filled. So we had to stand in the aisle after being 5th in line due to the incompetence of the security working there. Will never go to see a show at this venue again and will tell anyone who will listen to never patron this venue. The people working there are lazy amateurs.

This is unfortunately probably one of the worst venues I have ever been too. The service and sportsmanship of everyone working here was horrible, a real big let down. But the absolute worst part of this venue is that they only allow the first 500 guests down into the "dance floor" giving them a wristband, now this is fine and all if they had actually made all the guests attending AWARE of this so we all could have showed up earlier to get a wristband, but no we were not notified before hand and all the girls and guys who dont even move got them while we were stuck cramped in the little levels behind the dance floor. But the worst part was throughout the night people were constantly leaving the dance floor and going home leaving much more space available. It was much more dangerous to have 150 people in the small levels behind the dance floor than to have them on the actual dance floor. Very disappointed in this venue and will definitely never be returning.

Ive been here twice, apparently they only give pit wristbands to the first 500 people that show up. the first show i was one of those 500 so i thought the wristband was included in my ticket. being in the pit was nice but with only 500 people the dance party never got started, made the whole performance lack excitement and energy. the second time i showed up 20 minutes before the show and the wristbands were all given out already. so i ended up on the next level above. i was as okay with this as i could be but i found that this too was lacking danceable vides of a true music experience. this venue is good for watching shows not experiencing them. great for the older crowds who dont like to get into the music too much. also they dont have any drinking fountians
