No one call us back to follow up .. until we call the corporate office few days later someone called saying we still haven’t found your bag and just wanted to remind you no one that works for us steals anything………so I said well I don’t think my bag walked out room by itself ……… whatever. Honestly I had high hopes for this hotel. I booked it through an online travel site for a great deal, it had 4 stars, and i thought I was going to have a very nice stay. But unfortunatly it was a disaster and I honestly left to book a more expensive hotel for a better price. I was happy to see they had self parking, then not so happy to realize there gate was broken...long story short, I had to get out of my car, search for a employee, 20 minutes later a valet had to open the machine and let me in ....find parking in the back of the lot...walk for 10 minutes, get to the front desk, a very uninterested man checks me ...okay.....I get into my room, FIRST, no king bed that i bought, two doubles...okay?... multiple large stains on the carpet, a tv that would be awesome in 1995, a sliding door that has a sign posted for a balcony that says it will open 4 inches, but is off the tracks and is impossible to open, no soap(really???). I could deal with most of it, but Im here with my lady, and call to at least switch rooms to a single king bed, but there booked... very uninterested man says I just have to deal with two doubles for the night... okay, might as well head home, can i get a refund? NO. your Fed. sorry. okay. hilton your Fed. heres your crappy review.

I stayed here for 3 days to attend a conference. My overall experience was positive, but one incident was a little unhygienic in my opinion! One of the waiters walks behind the bar, puts his hands in the ice and then puts the ice in his mouth and continues working...Below are some other pros and cons from my stay; Pros - The front desk staff are helpful and friendly, but the lobby bar staff not so much. - Rooms are clean and functional. The shower had great water pressure! - Good location - very close to John Wayne Airport with free hourly shuttle service. - There are copious other restaurants and bars close by. Some are closed on Sundays. - Free coffee in the morning until breakfast is served, but there is also a coffee machine provided in the room. Cons - Self Parking is $26 a day! - Food in the lobby bar/restaurant (Aura Bar and Grill) is very average and way overpriced. Luckily, there is plenty of other good restaurants close by. - 2 of the 3 treadmills are broken in the gym. - There are no fridges in the rooms. - The rooms have DirecTv and a great channel selection but the system is very dysfunctional and hard to use. Overall, OK for the price!

Worst hotel Ive ever stayed at - Oct 2015 They placed me in a handicap room - normally I wouldnt mind but this setup looked like a prison cell. There is only a plastic curtain that separates the open shower from rest of bathroom and floor is slanted so water leaks into room. Room smelled - it was so bad on one bed that I had to switch to the other double bed. Called downstairs, they said they were sold out. Booked 4nts through Amex travel - Amex called hotel and spoke to Miguel (stated he was front desk supervisor). He would not give a refund for rest of the days - not even partial. Even though I was told that hotel was sold out, he was offering an upgrade. I dont want a larger smelly room. Its not about the money but experience - just want to be treated fairly, reasonably. This was for corporate travel and would not recommend to anyone. Stay far away from this hotel. I saw 4-stars for this hotel - not sure it qualifies for 3-stars.

The one night I stayed here has changed my point of view on hillton. You have to pay like $25 to park, even if you stay as a guest. There are hotels like the whyndom (how ever its spelled) less then a mile from the airport that are 10 times better. The rooms are fine the walls are thin! *awkward! The front destination is slow! Very very very slow. Two people were working and it took more then 30 mins to get help. They were very loud with the people they helped out. When I was in line with 2 partys in front of me and 2 partys being helped. I could here the conversations at the desks. When someones card didnt work, they were not professional, calm or respectful. When I called corporate to inform them, one of 2 things happened. Either she hung up or the call dropped. I gave my number to them 3 times in the 45 mins on the phone, no one called me back. So I wont be back.

Im mostly leaving this review because the room service was terrible, not the actual people that brought the food, but I had ordered a BLA (Bacon, Lettuce, and Avocado) sandwich and they only put avocado on half of it. I am actually trying to order room service as I am writing this but the phone just rings and no ones is answering. I thought it was supposed to be an easy process that is more simple than going out and getting food yourself, but this is proving the opposite of that. EDIT: Room service called me back and apologized for the inconvenience and said that they were very busy today. I will update again when I get the food but for now Ill move it up to 3 stars.

we had to leave out of John Wayne airport early in the morning so we stayed over night here. the check in was quick and they booked us exactly what we wanted. the room was clean and comfortable with a courtyard view. very clean and has coffee service in the room. we went to the bar for a drink before bed. they have a full selection of drinks unlike some other hotels Ive been to lately. the breakfast buffet in the morning was fast hot and fresh. fruits, eggs, meats, and even breakfast burritos. the airport is directly across the street! very convenient. we will definitely stay here again when heading out from the airport
