My famy and I experienced the inside of a dining-car taking us back to 1940 pulling the horn blowing the whistles (knowing the difference) and getting to ask the people who volunteer their time so many different questions. They were working on the trains and rebuilding part of the Arcadia station that once stood in Arcadia and now is here. And we got to see a real diesel locomotive move up and down the track!!!- We got to go inside the different cabs of the engines and see a real life Caboose inside. It was a whole lot of fun Perfect Day right here at Pomona Fairgrounds just come to gate 1 tell them "we re coming to the trains" free parking free entry really good time...bring water, umbrella if you want for shade and your walking shoes or boots!! They have the train here from Seabiscuit and they have a really cool library in one of the cars and they sell a lot of train t-shirts. Open 2nd weekend every month great for adults and if youre a handyman or have any experience and any interest in trains come help volunteer!!!

Went here for Warped Tour. The grounds themselves were fine, and there was TONS of parking available ($10 bucks, not sure what it is for other events). Getting into the parking lot was a nightmare. A one lane road to the only entrance is ridiculous, we sat in our car for over an hour waiting to get even close to the entrance. Plan ahead when coming to an event here, and leave early!

This entrance into the Pomona Fairplex is one of the easier ones to enter from the 10 freeway. It has about 15 openings and during the fair it has parking close to the carnivals and rides. Also I think this is the entrance you will go into if youre going to the Pomona Raceway

Security was good, the grounds were nicely kept. The only fly in the ointment was finding my car. Many other folks were in the same predicament, and we all walked for 2 or 3 hours to find our vehicles. I would like to see the parking lot marked better.

I went for Oktoberfest 2017 and I had a great time. Everyone was friendly. Great service. Easy to get to. The dance club the host is also a fantastic time.

Grassy and open. Depends on the event though. Most events cover the grass with sand.
