Overall a great place to hit balls. Good balls, good mats, good targets, great atmosphere. It lacks a good putting green and short game area. They have that, but it is closed off for the Stanford team and group lessons. But still a good place to go hit balls.

The Stanford Golf Driving Range is well-maintained and not expensive ($3 per 25 balls, or $2.50/25 balls if youre Stanford-affiliated; no bulk discounts). Parking lot is small and free; you are typically able to find parking on any given day.

The only reason this doesnt get an excellent is because there is no area to hit off grass. Lots of good targets to aim for. Pro shop staff are friendly.

Very convenient if you work at the hospital. Not aware of any hospital with a closer driving range elsewhere in the country. Cheap prices for trainees.
