City of Newport Beach has no consideration for the people who live in their City their main concern is tourism and turning Newport Beach into Disneyland similar to what happened to Huntington Beach. They removed all the parking meters and turn control of parking over to a third party can anyone say corruption I cannot go sailing or get 8 hours of sleep because these parking meters will only accept 7 hours or less of money at a time even though theyre all computerized and you use your debit card it will only accept 7 hours affecting my sleep schedule seeing how I sleep during the day I barely have enough time to get out of the mouth of the harbor on my sailboat before its time to go back and deal with the parking meters again. I understand the city wants to pump people in and out of the city draining the money and getting him the back out of there just like a restaurant wood but what about the people who live there how come Im denied eight hours sleep this sounds like a lawsuit waiting to happen if Im denied 8 hours sleep this is a medical issue and the city is preventing me from being able to sleep how they have put parking meters everywhere they possibly can theres a law that they cant put them in front of your house but they dont have a problem putting along side of your house. Newport Beach is one of the richest cities there is why do they have to keep pumping us for money everywhere. And they cant even clean the bathrooms youve seen the bathrooms in Newport Beach theyre disgusting and they never get cleaned but if you live on Balboa Island base steam clean the gutters every week I am not kidding you if youre rich and live on the island youre treated differently than the people who have the poor houses Ark all city parks close to be treated the same how come the rich neighborhoods get steam cleaned gutters and the poor neighborhood public use areas can never get the bathrooms even cleaned ever Even the brand new bathrooms they just built havent been cleaned in months and months how is it they have the money to build a new bathroom but cant clean it. And I keep mentioning this because Ive never seen it in any City ever before but Im not kidding you they steam clean the gutters like you would on the carpet for your floor

When you spend 40 million on a park, it usually gets 5 stars. This place is heaven for me and my kids. They love all the fun play structures, playing in the water, and the lighthouse slide. I love skipping stones across the bay, watching passing boats and quality bathrooms. Not to mention filtered water for humans and even a dog watering bowl... Most of the time we pay for parking, but thats ok. Love the huge open fields for running, flying kites and playing games. Basketball courts, workout equipment and even the Lighthouse Cafe. Pretty spectacular and very cool that you can sail/yacht here and reserve a slip for up to 30 days.

Gorgeous Community Park! Very small but what a view! The other thing I like about this Park is that it is very popular with families and tourists. There is enough room to find a nice spot on the grass or in the bay front sand. There are also nice benches if you prefer. The park has its own lighthouse in the childrens play area and the play area itself is a step up offering a lot of fun for children. Also, a second larger Lighthouse is in Marina Park (Lighthouse Bayview Cafe). You can enjoy a Bayside meal with your children. It would be very hard to find a better small park.. Have fun while youre young my mother used to say!

Very weird place. I definitely wouldnt recommend going. We ordered mixed drinks that didnt at all seem to have alcohol in them. We later asked for the alcohol to be brought out to the table, but were told that we had to immediately put them into the drinks, rather than take them as a shot. My wife took a quick sip and could tell it wasnt all alcohol. The food was really subpar too, and the servers are mostly high school students who would, understandably, rather chit chat with each other than tend to the customers. Definitely not a place to visit unless youre a pinch like we were.

Need more ORGANIC. Plant base Options. Stunning Location Nice Chef. They just use. Cheap Non Organic Oils Sad because the Chef is Good and has no say so. If the Owners were Smart and wanted year around LOCAL residents Business. They would make an effort to Go Organic. TO MANY PEOPLE ARE AWAKE HERE. We Dont want to go out an eat Poision and pollute our ocean with chemical pesticide runoff thats what happens when you dont eat organic the chemical pesticide runoff so yeah its a gorgeous Place highly recommend visiting If your organic its definitely not the place for you.

There are smaller portions here and we always want to utilize more of their seating than they seem to have open, but I had the clam chowder and the garden salad while watching the boat parade and loved it! Its cozy and they have a corkage fee if you want to bring your own bottle of wine :) The staff was very accommodating. The host came out to catch us after seeing we wanted to try it out and not having a table available. He had called the other reservations and found one that was canceling. They were unexpectedly hospitable and we had a great view.

I stayed at the marine at marina park for 6 nights. I originally planned to stay for two, but the Dock Master Ryan made my stay so welcoming and comfortable I continued to stay an additional 4 days. Ryan was so helpful, friendly, and went the extra mile to make may stay fabulous. Thanks Ryan, you did an amazing job making me feel welcome and truly like a guest visiting an old friend. Youre "can do it!" Attitude shines through giving guest the reassurance they chose the correct place to moore while in Newport beach. Thanks so much, Rhonda

Tasty food, and great location by a channel beach and playground. Probably not worth a trip just for fine dining but if you are in the area and looking for a place to get lunch this could be a great option. Gets very busy early on the weekends and parking can be complicated due to the volume of people going to the beach in the area. Not great for young children as its small and they dont allow strollers inside. Also of note there is no restroom nearby as you must use the public facility at the front of the building.

The Marina Park Community and Sailing Center is perfect for anyone wanting to hangout near the beach. Its located on bayside of the Balboa Peninsula in Newport Beach. It has a large park with picnic area, beach themed playground, a beach area, restroom facilities, outdoor fitness circuit, and basketball courts. The Lighthouse Café serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, and brunch. They also have a Happy Hour for those wanting to relax with a drink while taking in the views of Newport Bay.

Awful service. Management is terrible, the GM Susan is not professional. Stay as far away as you can,especially if you are trying to get a job, my friend who was hired and then fired for absolutley no reason, literally they couldnt tell him why he was fired has been promised his paycheck for the long hours he spent helping start up the place and they have yet to contact him or pay him or even do anything about getting him his paycheck. very unprofessional.
