Recently restored to its previous luxurience , this lavish movie-palace now serves as both movie-theatre and live performance venue. The small, but dedicated, staff is extremely personable and obviously love what they do in a venue that they greatly admire. Food and drink provided in the lobby is wonderfully epicurean, yet provided with a firm eye to health-consciousness, sustainability, etc. An absolute must-see if youre in Modesto for any length of time.

What a lovely theatre. A throwback to the days when theatres where a showcase to Hollywood. This is large arena and everything from the moment you step inside is about making you the center of the movie experience. They offer food and drink here and the sound quality is better than good. The seats started to get a bit uncomfortable after sitting for and hour and a half but not bad at all. The staff were pleasant and welcoming. A good place to see a movie!

I like this theater because they usually get their hands on some really good movies... Mainly Oscar nominees and classics. Its kept up nicely and has a good snack and beverage offering (last we went there was indigeny blackberry cider on tap). I only wish the lower section had a slightly higher incline so the chance of getting stuck behind a tall person is a lot less likely, but its an old theater, so you cant get everything.

Ive enjoyed one thing ive seen here when i was younger and that was an "Ill List". Ive nothing against them personally and have a pal that works here. many of my pals love it. I just dont enjoy most of the movies they play. theyre not my bag. as far as the experience goes this place is rather nice and the only theater you can get cocktailed at if thats your thing (its many folks thing)

Large theater. No crowds. Clean. Friendly staff. Movies are not your Hollywood generic remakes. However, I would prefer more movie time options per day.
