I attended a wedding here in December. What a beautiful oasis in the heart of LA and easy access to the 10 freeway. I have to say that I was completely blown away the by how nice this place is on the inside and how its just off the beaten path of the rest of the crowds on La Cienega so the neighborhood is not sketchy at all. There a succulents adorning the walls make it so beautiful. The staff was able to convert the wedding area into a very hip hangout spot complete with couches benches and heaters for the cold weather. Inside the sound system was very adequate and really no need for a DJ. The wedding party had hired a live band but the music that played in-between kept the party going all the time. The staff was very nice and accommodating. I totally would recommend this place to anyone who would want a unique place to have an event in LA.

This unique venue features indoor and outdoor space, a wall of succulents and a rustic atmosphere that makes it a hidden oasis in the heart of the hustle and bustle of LA. I attended a private party and there was plenty of space for a bar, four food stations, a step-and-repeat and long tables for dining, socializing and relaxing. A cozy upstairs lounge is cordoned off for private use and is nice for taking a break from playing host or hostess and good for spying on the partygoers below you (yes, I said it). A parking lot is available adjacent to the building. A gem in the heart of the big city!

Really nice location for various types of events. Decorated with flowers and wall plants as well as small detail things of the history behind the place been that at one point it was a car garage for smog checks, you can find small things around the venue showing part if that history. Both open area and indoor areas are great for different types of set up and there is also a very high quality sound system and video projector which can be used for private parties, weddings and various other events. This place has so many potential uses that it fits to any style.

This venue was a great space for a small wedding (up to 150 guests). It used to be a smog check garage so they still have the garage doors which divide the inside and outside portions of the space. The walls were covered in succulent plants and the outside space was perfect for the wedding ceremony as a backdrop. It can be transformed into a lounge area for cocktail hour after the ceremony. Theres also a crows nest lounge for the wedding party to get ready in since theres a private bathroom in the back.

Recently attended a beautiful wedding here. The concrete walls were nicely adorned with lush greenery and the industrial look honestly give it a pretty hipster label. Nonetheless the space is really nice and you can hire your own catering company for any event. Outdoor area can be redone with various layouts as with the indoor dining space. Upstairs is fitted with a space for the guest of honor/ hosts with an area for the DJ, and a private bathroom.

We had my sisters wedding at SmpgShoppe and it was fantastic. The venue was beautiful and very accommodating. Gaylen and the rest of the staff that were there on event day were amazing at helping coordinate whatever we needed. 10/10 would recommend to anyone that is in need of a beautifully equipped venue with an extremely professional staff

Very cool venue. I was here for a Google Experts event and it definitely did not disappoint. The venue is kind of small but very charming. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. If youre considering a hipster style wedding, this has to be a great contender for sure. Parking can be tough but I valet is pretty good.

Was at this facility for a friends wedding. Great set up, decor, and reuse of an old smog shop! Very modern, trendy, but it really lacks parking! And the location and surrounding side streets is a pain in the neck during normal traffic hours. Other than that we had a great time here during the wedding.

Really unique event venue featuring an indoor/outdoor space, vertical gardens and reclaimed wood tables. The venue mainly hosts weddings but works well for other social gatherings because everything can be moved around -- even the planter boxes are on wheels!

Cute intimate google expert farmers market event here. Super hot cause its ann outdoor indoor venue but free valet was awesome. Wall plants everywhere, simple decor. Popular wedding venue spot a gf coordinates at alot at.

Such a beautiful place!! I was there for a company event so I cant tell if its always as great... but we did a cooking contest and the chefs are very good as well as the food
