Excellent experience and wonderful customer service! I decided to call The Grand hoping they had availability for my Moms Celebration of Life (repast lunch) with only a weeks notice. To my surprise they had the perfect room available - exactly what I was looking for - AND it fit within our budget. Elizabeth was so kind, sympathetic, and patient throughout the whole process. She was flexible and very accommodating even with last minute changes. She made this whole process easier on us. I wanted a room well lit by natural light that could accommodate 100 people, the Monarch room was beautiful and perfect in every way, allowing us to celebrate my mothers life in a Chic and classy way - just how she was. The food was excellent and they didnt miss a detail in the experience or service. I know Mom was smiling down at her celebration and Im so thankful and grateful to Elizabeth and her staff for making this difficult time a beautiful experience. I would definitely recommend The Grand and would definitely check here first for my next event.

I have to say I arrived today to view the different venues for our wedding with my fiancé. first of all we scheduled an appointment and of course when you schedule an appointment and arrive 5 min early you expect the coordinator to assist you. But that was definitely not what we experienced. The lady in the front desk seemed young and didnt really know what she was talking about, she didnt know what cocktail hour was?! Come on!!! Well to make a long story short the coordinator NEVER came to assist us the girl in the front desk said sorry she running behind from a previous appointment..... How unprofessional for them to so this.. My fiancé and I decided to give ourselves a tour of the place. There rooms are bad!! Carpets are either stained or ripped. The walls look pretty beat up on the venues. They are okay for birthday parties or small occasions but definetly not a wedding. We walked out without any interest in even considering of having our wedding there.

I couldnt of picked a better venue to have my Quinceanera. I worked with Beto, and honestly I dont know what I would of done without him. He took off all of our stress and truely cared about making my party perfection. He helped me get every detail the way I wanted and at an economic price. The day of the party he was on top of everything and always asking if we needed anything, always aware of everything going on. I truely recommend the Grand because its a beautiful place with great service and the food is amazing, the staff is always working and smiling. Im so glad I got the opportunity to work with Beto, his just simply the best!

I attended two events at this hotel, one for real estate investors and the other was for business networking. Both events were well done. I attended a nice event at the Grand last night, but did not see one valet worker, front desk staff member or manager... all info needed was luckily found by a complete stranger. Very disappointed! Who runs a Hotel with no front end staff?

The Grand in Long Beach is so beautiful. My big cousin had her wedding here and it was the most beautiful wedding Ive ever seen. The staff members were very nice and everyone came together to make sure that her day was perfect.

I was very pleased with my experience at The grand. I had a memorial service for my mother here which obviously was a more emotional event and they made the event seamless. They are very caring and professional.
